The claw is the reason I started riding mtb. Now every time I watch 1 of his edits there's always that kranked 5 scene flashing in my mind . Long live the claw
Same here, I remember the first time I saw the Claw. it was a picture in the 2004 Specialized catalog, he did a 15 huck off a fallen tree on the brand new Demo 9. Before then i had no idea such riding style or bikes existed. It as the coolest thing I had ever seen. The rest is history.
His segment in Roam on his blue SX Trail was my reason for getting into freeriding, it blew my mind. All time favorite rider who has done a lot for the awareness of FMB
For real. It was one thing to see him race DH at one of the NW Cup races (frickin' awesome at that), but this totally surprised me in a good way. Solid edit to boot!
That's a negative my friend. The claw is certified rad but Wade deserves the title of OG if there is to be such a thing. I remember being blown away by pics of him hucking cliffs on 4 inch marz bombers and thinking it couldn't be real haha. Check out marzocchi truck gap if you've never seen it
Wow..never did I think that I'd see a Hornby Island video with Berrecloth. Kind
of a weird feeling seeing obscure hometown trails in a video! Hornby is amazing,
peaceful and serene. Any time I've been riding , I've never seen a scrap of garbage
anywhere. Or anyone else riding there for that matter!
In Poland is ILLEGAL to ride a national nature parks, because bikes are 'destroying the nature', and a forest guards (almost a Texas Ranger - like) will jump out from bushes before you, risking their lives, just to give you a ticket. However it's OK when thousands of pedestriants walk by and live trash all around.
So smooth he looks like he is riding slow, until they show the POV and then I realised he was actually going bloody fast. Love a video of a good rider tackling a fast flowing section of trail or tackling some remote locations, revs my engine more than helter skelter downhill segments .... but that's just me.
Would have been an awesome VOD if not for the repeated use of slow mo. Either way Berrecloth rocks!!!!
Only thing worse than the overuse of slo-mo in MTB vids is a mega-mo at X-Games. I want to biatch slap the next commentator who bangs on about mega-mo!!!!
damn...i love the rain. it adds another element to this riding we do here.. you have to have experienced (and survived) a few rides to understand. i'm going to Hornby Island.
Too much party. People looking to party broke into houses and were pretty Doushbags, the extra party traffic was also too much for the locals and seasonal owners.
holy crap I go there every year as well. just got back from my last rip there actually. That was a sick video, makes me wish I was back riding yer mom on the island again!
haha nah its not .. my username refers to a rc car back when i used to race
