Race Report: Ocean Sierra a Multi-Day Enduro in Mexico
Do not ride in Mexico or do any other sport with any sort of risk like surfing. If you are injured the medical care is substandard and if from America they will ask for a credit card or large sums of cash. Stick to non-third work countries to mountain bike where you can trust the government and healthcare system.

Video: Yoann Barelli Goes 'Into the Gnar' in Oaxaca, Mexico
Friends avoid riding in Mexico. If injured you will not receive adequate care and may be held hostage to a corrupt medical system. If medical staff discover you are from North America they will require an open tab on a credit card for their version of sub-par medical care. Getting med- evacuated to America is near impossible and if there is a fatality recovering the body will require bribes. I have personal experience with both scenarios unfortunately. There are plenty of great places to ride elsewhere.

Pinkbike Poll: Have You Ever Recycled A Frame?
I've never done it but I have friends who take the frames to the desert and fill it full of holes with an assault rifle and then hang it in the garage.

Pinkbike Poll: What is Your MTB Capital of the World?
Orange County in Southern California! Year round riding because of the weather. We ride on New Year’s Day 72 degrees F. Telonics downhill in Laguna. Trails everywhere. Pros come in the “winter” whatever that means.

Video: Clipless vs. Flat Pedals - The Pros and Cons of Both
The most important reason to ride flats for older riders is that clipless places all of the stress directly behind the knee cap because the attachment to the pedal is the ball of the foot. By running flats and placing the pedal axel mid-foot it distributes the pressure through the leg and into the hip flexors. Switching to flats was a game changer for me in reducing knee pain.
