Vittoria Release New Downcountry Tire - The Syerra
Last set of tires that I ran on my Ripley was EXO+ Dissector(F), EXO+ Rekon(R). Loved the Dissector, but the 3C Maxx Terra Rekon didn't last very long. Started losing traction trying to climb up ledges etc. Fast running set of tires though. This sorta looks like a Rekon to me. Trying DHR (F) and a dual compound Dissector on the rear now. What I lost in speed seems to be made up in traction. Time will tell.

Field Trip: 10 Value Bikes Hucked to Flat In Slow Motion (1000FPS)
@ABhardtail: Yeah they say the carbon model has clearance for 2.6 tires too. From pics I've seen clearance is super tight.

Field Trip: 10 Value Bikes Hucked to Flat In Slow Motion (1000FPS)
@SATN-XC: I have a V4 that I've bottomed out at speed off about 4ft high. No rubs on the seat tube with either a 2.3 Aggressor or 2.4 Rekon. With the Rekon though I've been running an RPP fender...no smacks or hits that I can remember.
