Pinkbike Annual Community Survey Results: What Bikes Do Pinkbike Readers Ride?
If you don't want the Outside+ writers to be overpaid, stop giving them your cool ideas for free and let them find article subjects by themselves haha!

Opinion: How Many Batteries Does a Mountain Bike Really Need?
Sounds to me like someone might have been inspired by Mike Ferrentino's Beggars would ride article last week on NSMB. Oh, and 0 batteries for me thanks.

Video: 'Honestly, It Elevated the Sport' - Aaron Gwin Discusses his Impact on World Cup Racing
Come on! The title of the podcast is "Honestly it elevated the sport" Aaron Gwin talks about training with Eli & John Tomac - Gypsy Tales. Not the same thing at all! @Pinkbike, your clickbait title is totally unrespectful and makes Gwin sound like a douche, which he isn't at all.

Video: 'Honestly, It Elevated the Sport' - Aaron Gwin Discusses his Impact on World Cup Racing
That's what I thought! Gwin is not like that at all when you hear him on podcasts. Way to go Pinkbike, this click bait title isn't very nice.

Industry Digest: Trek's Direct to Consumer Box, Low Salaries, Sea Otter & More
You really started something cool and sadly, bigger websites saw that and were quick to jump on the idea. So much easier to take an idea from a smaller website than to come up with something original...

Commencal Launches Mixed-Wheel 2022 Meta SX
2020 frame only price : 1799$cdn 2022 frame only price : 2299$/2399$ cdn Quite the upcharge! Hoping the finish and QC is better than my 2020 because it wasn't impressive at all. This price increase confirms that my next frame won't be a Commencal.

The Pinkbike Podcast: Episode 80 - The Best Vehicles for Mountain Bikers
QUESTIONS! about ebikes!) : Here are a few questions that I feel have never really been discussed in ebikes debates/points of views. (Not even in the last podcast about ebikes.) -What will happen when the e-bikes motors and batteries will be out of warranty and will need replacing in a few years? Who will want to pay for a 2000$ motor on a 5-6 year old ebike? Will there still be compatible new parts from manufacturers? What will happen with those bikes? -How will "regular" mtb users (the "original" sport vs e-mtb) feel/react when 70-80% of mountain bikers will use an e-bike in a few years? Always stopping to get out of the way for people to pass them on ebikes? (Even slow mtber will probably be faster uphill and on flats than an average mtber). -What will happen when de-restricted and just more powerful or throttle-controlled ebikes (made by mtb companies or others) enter in the trails? Who will "police" the trails? emotorcycles are already invading cyclepaths, I feel like it's soon going to happen in mtb trails. I've seen a de-restriction software ad on Pinkbike recently, so I guess this is a sign of thibgs to come. -Will we pay more for day passes because the increase of trail use (ex: runs per trail) caused by ebikes (which will bring added maintenance costs)? Regular bikes users will then pay more to have worst trail conditions and less fun (having to stop to get passed by ebikers all the time). -Does anyone reflect to the state of mountain biking and the ebikes' impact on the mountain biking "experience" and trail use in 10-15-20 years? Thanks!
