WINNER SELECTED FOR THE 2016 MOUNTAIN BIKING BC 7 DAY GIVEAWAY

VANCOUVER, BC August 8, 2016 – Over 2,000 entries were received from over 30 different countries for this year’s week long mountain biking prize trip to British Columbia. This year’s lucky winner is Jacqueline Odermatt from Flims Waldhaus, Switzerland. Jacqueline has invited her Canadian friend, Michelle Davies, to share this unforgettable adventure.

Jacqueline was selected among 10 random finalists who had to convince a panel of judges in 500 word or less why they should be the chosen one for this incredible experience. Jacqueline impressed our judges as a passionate and motivated bike girl from Switzerland who loves to ride technical singletrack and wants to encourage more women to be adventurous and explore trails on their mountain bikes.

This year’s trip will feature a mix of old and new school trails as we explore the southwest corner of the province including the Sunshine Coast, Fraser Valley, Squamish and the North Shore. To make things extra rad, Geoff Gulevich will be leading the charge, showing us some of his favourite trails and testing our skills to keep up. Guiding the trip will be Darren Butler and Kelli Sherbinin from Endless Biking. Also coming along to capture the moments is adventure photographer, Margus Riga.
