East Bound and Down: Boone, North Carolina
There is a number of reasons for the frustration mountain bike destinations develop for visitors. It's neither presumptuous nor based on an overblown sense of self-importance, it's a matter of showing a little fucking respect for the efforts that the locals have put into building a resource that CAN be lost due to actions of a few entitled #vanlife dickheads.

Top 10 Ridden Canadian Cities of Summer 2017
@canadaka: I almost never run Strava when riding my 'normal' loops but often will run it when riding somewhere new or a new combination of trails if I am interested in some metrics like length of ride/ climbing/ descending. Now you know a single person who does.

Chromag Launches First Tech Clothing Line - First Look
If they made the jerseys out of wool they wouldn't need an "Environmentally friendly, EPA certified treatment" to make the jerseys "Antibacterial, moisture wicking"... they just would be. There needs to be more wool and less synthetics in mtb clothing. Plastic sucks. I do think the line looks pretty good, I just would like to see wool used more than just for an apres ride piece.

Enduro World Series Round 4 – Pit Walk
well, Rat Boy might have explained everything about the new bike and how to achieve peace in the middle east... but I'll never know without subtitles.

Buttermilk Apparel - A New Mountain Apparel Brand for Contemporary Women
I'd trust them to design great clothing a bit more if they new how to spell chamois (you are making cycling apparel, after all)... but I really dig the Flyin' Ryan Foundation socks, so I wish them the absolute best with the company.

2017 Kona Hei Hei Trail - First Ride
@kudos100: Have you considered that maybe there are lots and lots of products that have been tested and found to be shitty products, so no review was ever posted?? No need to write a scathing review that pisses off a manufacturer if they can simply say "it wasn't good enough, we are not going to post an article, sorry."

All Done - Ask Us Anything: Crankbrothers
@crankbrothers: The single worst warranty experience I have ever had, working in a shop (20+ years of ski/bike), was with CB. A customer's Joplin failed (surprise!) you refused to warranty it without proof of purchase, problem was it was purchased as a component on a Giant ReignX... from a different shop. He didn't have it and you told me, in no uncertain words to "go pound sand". I ended up paying for a RS Dropper post for him because he was left waiting so long. I get that not every damaged product is a warranty, I am all for companies saying "not a defect, crash damage, sorry." but when you ABSOLUTELY KNOW that your product, as built, sucks you need to stand behind it and not hide behind demands for 'proof of purchase'. That type of bullshit leaves a taste in the mouth that cannot be washed out.
