Video: The Race & Suspension Rebuild Challenge - Pinkbike Academy Episode 7
Seems like hammering in the seals with the magnesium lowers on the table is not good for it. Anyone know a better way to do that?

Santa Cruz Bicycles Announces Recall on Some 2020 Aluminum Nomad, Bronson, 5010, & Furtado Models
@GregorFuk: Bike radar Carbon Chameleon review (which loved the bike) pointed out that you could build the bike up from a frame with the same spec at MSRP for less than the MSRP of a complete bike.

State Bicycle Co. Releases a $400, 27.5" Klunker
Looks sweet. Unfortunately everyone around here is so hip that we have fixed gear tracklocross races for old school shenanigans, and couldn't use this for those races since its so modern with those coaster brakes. Would be fun to try anyways, or build as a fixie....

@Rainallday: I had that on my gravel bike and liked it a lot for that, but it rubbed the frame.

Burning Question: What Next After the COVID Bike Boom?
@JSTootell: Someone I grew up with owns a shop a few blocks away so I tried to order parts through him instead of on Jenson. Both times I tried it took over a week, and then he just couldn't get things in stock. Jenson gets me stuff in one business day every time, and actually have stuff in stock.

Tom Van Steenbergen Breaks Femur, Rib & Punctures Lung
@PHeller: I crashed and put a gash in my knee that needed twelve stitches in the top third of Downieville. I had a quickclot in my bag and taped it in place and was able to ride out. If I didn't have the quickclot, I would have had some serious blood loss and it may have been a scary escape. Instead, I was fine. I have one that I wrapped the package in athletic tape and leave it in my bag for big gashes. For anything less, I just ride out. For anything more, I plan to use a tube or clothing as a tourniquet.

Round Up: 20 Different EWS Tire Combinations
@Rainallday: Interesting experience. I've used the Martello rear and it works great, but the Agarro feels so fast I love it. It seems like it has plenty of grip where I ride so it must just be different kinds of terrain favor it. On my hardtail I have an Agarro on the front and a Morsa on the back. I'm going to try a Barzo on the rear to make it ride even faster.

Review: 2021 Kona Process X DL
@tacklingdummy: This is definitely true. The 475 reach on my current bike is more stable and has allowed me to get faster with confidence. Now that I have gained some more confidence and skill, I think I can take advantage of the turning capabilities of a shorter bike while still having the skill to plow through rough stuff. I also may test a few bikes and decide the 475 where I am already is just right.
