Review: Specialized's 2FO Clip 2.0 Shoes Are Designed for Descending
I've got them as well after trying about 4 other different types of shoes. I have short but wide feet and these make all the difference. I also use an insert from superfeet, which helps with comfort and support, but I use those in all my shoes so it's not a dig against these.

Pinkbike Poll: Will Your Next Bike Have More or Less Suspension Travel?
I have a Patrol and I'm thinking of adding a hardtail like a carbon Honzo for XC rides/races.

9 Mountain Bike Grips Ridden & Rated
Like most people, I have tried at least a half dozen pairs of grips. One thing not mentioned though was how much glove choice matters. I have a pair of gloves from 100% that don't have much grip on Deity Knuckledusters and I get arm pump with them constantly since I need to hold on tighter. With Giro DNA gloves but the same grips the problem mostly disappears. FWIW my current favorite grips are the Ergon GD1. I liked the GE1 as well and the Deity Knuckledusters, but not as much as the GD1.

Vitus Launch Affordable, 140mm Travel Mythique Trail Bike
Probably because they already sell out of the bikes they build with higher margins so fast it wouldn't make sense to waste capacity on something else that would make them less money

Ski-cross Racer Mikayla Martin Dies in Squamish Mountain Biking Accident
@Ryan2949: My dad started Mountain biking in the late 80s before I was even born. He was always clumsy (like me) but finally broke his collarbone around 2006. Now he just sticks to the road since he doesn't want to miss out on another season of skiing, karate, and his other passions (including road riding). My dad likes to be out in nature though so I have been working on getting him on a gravel bike. There are lots of fun ways to enjoy life in nature on two wheels with a bit lower risk.

Transition Announces All New Patrols Come With a Coil Shock
I love my Alloy Patrol and have been racing it both Enduro and XC (got 2nd in class at Downieville and Shasta Enduro), and although I would love to try this supple feeling everyone talks about, I really can't justify adding another pound when I'm already over 35 as is unless it totally changed the feeling. I would like to demo one, but don't want to commit and then dislike it.

Video: Title Fight Bike Checks - Sam Hill Vs Florian Nicolai
Depends on what and how you ride. I'm only 5'10 but I ride a large 475 mm reach Transition Patrol with a 50mm stem and 760 bars. I test rode a bunch of smaller bikes and this felt way better for me. My old bike was a Felt Decree with about a 416mm reach and the same stem and bar and I would go over the bars all the time, but I hardly crash now. I tried the Medium patrol which was 450 and it didn't make me feel quite as confident. Horses for courses I suppose, and the long reach is easier to ride in the rough stuff for scrubs like me

Specialized to Close its Website this Friday in Support of Global Climate Strike
@jaame: In a very simplistic way yes people can move, but society is breaking down due to backlash over immigration in both your country and mine. So unless you have a solution for that, we have to deal with climate change as well.
