Rocky Mountain Altitude 790 MSL Rally

$2700 USD
You want this!! Before I go into detail: NOTE ON EXTRA LARGE frame: At 6'0 and 185 lbs, I typically ride a large frame no matter what brand, but in this case an extra large worked out fantastic. I was told that this particular Rocky Mountain bik-and category- tends to feel like it rides and fits smaller, so if you are 5'10 to 6'2, this will work great. I have been on other XLs of other brands: too big. So don't be scared of the XL- it was a big decision for me but worth it for sure. The large would have been too small, I am convinced. In 2015 this bike retailed for $6900 and up as configured, so in todays bikes it would be closer to $8000... and the minute you point it downhill, you will know why: its light, nimble, plows through anything I have ever thrown at it with ease, and it catches air /lands better than any bike I have EVER been on: quite simply it inspires confidence all the way around This is also the best climbing bike I have ever ridden: out of the box it barely weighs in at 28 lbs, and it crazily seemed to accelerate my climbing. Even when I was tired, it acted like it had a little motor in it-Dont know why, but think it has to do with geometry, weight and components combined-? No matter: it makes climbing fun again! I have been able to just set the forks at my rider weight and abilities and rip- with none of the ongoing adjustments I seem to have been subject to in previous bikes-many of which have been excellent bikes as well. Favorite feature: A handlebar mounted rear fork lockout: fantastic for instant rear travel lockout while climbing, then just flip the switch on the downhill: no need to get off the bike anymore. Comes with a Seatpost X-Fusion Manic, 30.9mm dropper post that works better than any I have ever been on as well. Light, nimble, trustworthy confidence inspiring, fun, and in great shape... The pictures you see here show the very few nicks and marks on the bike-and in fact I have a few mechanics ask me if it was ever ridden before I bought it last spring. I bought this from Pros Closet in Boulder and have put only about 80 miles on it since then- I am only selling because I need the money. New parts: I just put in a Fox Factory front hub skewer and have riddent it once since then, so it's basically brand new. Everything else: chain, fork, tired, etc: ready to ride! She's ready to ride-and gets a lot of compliments for her looks no doubt Bike is in Jackson, WY. Will ship -at your cost-anyhwere in the world if needed-I have the original shipping box.
