Video: Carnage on the NZ Enduro River Crossing [Updated with Response from NZ Enduro]
Funny. Didn't expect some of the world's best riders having a crack at gapping a water crossing was going to cause such missery and concern in the comments. Better just have a big pile of pillows at the end next year... Safety first...

Just when I thought bike recalls couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!

Video: The Pro's Closet Museum Series - Ned Overend
Yup. Welcome back.. Not much has changed.. Although to be fair, there's been a new series of epic rants on rear hub widths just to keep things diverse.. ;-)

From the Top: Chris Cocalis
I had the opposite experience. My old Mach 5.7 alloy lost one of the carbon covers over the hollow alloy lower link. Must've fallen off on a ride... It's cosmetic- not structural and no big deal. I asked Pivot for a price on a new carbon insert. They promptly responded saying that the part was bonded in and not supposed to fall out. They apologized, and sent me a whole new lower link!! To their credit I rode that frame hard even during our wet season with no other issues and sold it to buy the new Mach 6 frame when it came out. Stoked with it. Yeah the cable paths were abit naff but easily fixed and the bike rides amazing.

Vorsprung Suspension Releases Corset Air Sleeve for Trek DRCV Shocks
^This. I fitted a Corset Air Sleeve to the Float X on my Pivot Mach 6 and it actually sags a few mm under it's own weight like a coil equipped DH bike would. It's THAT supple!! Also, despite the sag sitting about 3% lower in the travel, it actually has a lot better support, so i end up with less pedal strikes when pedaling over rocks, gnar etc. The air spring's bottom-out resistance is better too with much more ramp-up at the end of the travel. All in all it was a great upgrade
