Dec 9, 2014Canon 24-105 f4L - like new
$500 GBPFor sale is an excellent example of this professional grade Canon L lens. I bought this a while ago to use as a spare lens and have only used it a handful of times. Most of the time it spent back in its box.
The lens works well as a wide angle at 24mm on a full frame sensor like a 5D, 6D or a 1D body and a good telephoto for portraits at 105mm. On a crop sensor (all other Canon bodies not mentioned above) it translates to 38.4mm – 168mm.
Either way on a crop sensor or full frame this a great lens for weddings, parties, indoor events like conferences or as a general walk about lens. I use mine for all of the above and portrait sessions as well as product photography. On my 5D MkII it produces excellent photos full of detail giving about as wide an angle as you get on a full-frame before you get excessive distortion. On my 7D it gives me that little bit of extra reach.
At f4 it is very sharp and crisp with enough bokeh at a telephoto end to sufficiently blur out background and foreground. It also has three stops of IS (image stabalisation) which has allowed me to shoot at 105mm in a dark environment at shutter speeds as low as 1/15 handheld, but I have quite a steady hand.
The photos are of this actual lens. As you can see there isn’t a scratch on the lens at all and I have kept it well looked after with a UV filter protecting the front element as well as the hood. This is lens is from Canon’s professional line-up, the L series, so it robust and weather sealed.
Items included in sale:
• original box
• Canon cloth pouch
• Genuine Canon lens hood
• Front and rear lens caps
• Paperwork
This lens retails for around £750.
I’ll take offers around £500 for this fine bit of kit.
Here’s a great review with sample photos:

Mar 24, 2014Fox Float 32 150mm RL
$235 GBPHi, I'm selling my Float 32 150mm/6" travel fork. It's brand new - was just fitted, but never ridden as I replaced it with another longer fork. It doesn't have a mark on it and as it's new it still needs bedding in, Rebound adjustment and lockout, with air preload. This is the 15 Maxle version and will come with the maxle. This fork has an RRP of £650.
You will also need a star nut fitted as I never had one installed. PLEASE NOTE: 205mm Tapered steerer (1 1/8" top to 1.5" bottom).
Will post within UK or available for collection from Birmingham, will consider offers.
