Nino Schurter had his work cut out for him. He fought his way back to the lead pack and then dueled it out with Flueckiger at the very end of the race. Insane power on display.

Hey PB would love if you could make some sort of photo article from early World Champs, I mean 1996, 2000, 2010.
Guess it would be difficult though not imposible.

The article is titled XC World Champions, not World Championships... The rainbow jersey is never worn at the world championships, so any shots where they are racing in the rainbow jersey are from a World Cup event.
