hahahaha, I've never heard anything so funny! I am here in Innsbruck, not sure where you want to hold this so called competition. The only "track" here in Innsbruck is at best a single trail! The "infrastructure" is again a joke! 1 lift to take all the tourists to the top of the mountain and the bikers wait and go up 2 at a time every 15 mins. Not sure when the last time Karin Seiler-Lall went to go check it out?! But i can count on 1 hand how many DH riders actually go up and ride over a weekend. As for the facilities, yes its help the olympics here a few times, thats due to having a Bobsleigh track, Ice rink and a Ski jump. So what has that got to do with holding a SUMMER DH bike festival? hahaha. These people are deluded! These are the very people that stop us from riding and building new bike parks! Apart from privately owned land resorts, such as Bergeralm (Bikepark Tirol) and Muttereralm, In the past 5 or so years, nothing has changed or is new! A new "trail" has been built from half way up the hill at which your expected to push up!! Which isn't really the whole point of the DH idea as thats kind of encroaching on Endure ;-) This whole festival would be suited to Leogang or Fiss, But i imagine they're not allowed due to their own sponsor bike festivals they hold each year. The nordkette dh bike race is lets face it wank! We get a few good standard riders come to make an appearance and to bring the crowds in, but lets not kid ourselves in thinking if they had a better offer they would decline pretty quick! IMHO they messed up giving it to a city that doesn't believe in DH or biking at that point, Not really the standard to be setting...

so their bikes are exactly the same as the past 3 or so years, except colour and pro has now fox? but the comp still on the teams, hardly an upgrade?? just a update of suspension.... ?? I'm not a fan of them, i no of 4 bikes with problems, warranty and customer service is shit and took 3 months to deliver each bike!! they have since sold them on after a season and bought bikes where shops or bike parks can undertake problems or service. Sure theres people without problems but like with everything ...

Im down in Innsbruck, within 2 hrs i have 4 parks which is great but others that are worth the trip (spicak) etc then its a every now and then, as to drive 4hrs each way is done on a weekend instead. The price has rocketed! i remember 2/3 years ago it was great, think 330 euro. I didn't pay this year, rode pretty much 4 months this year about 4/5 times a month and worked out 20euro more than card. They need to start making it cheaper as the parks inside are pretty much the same for the last 3 years except its gone up ALOT!
