Windrock Bike Park is a place unlike many others, where elements combine to create unique riding conditions. Sean Leader shows what it takes to conquer this mountain despite what Mother Nature has in store.

 @Peskycoots: maybe the precipitation but nowhere near the trails.

 @willdavidson9595: dunno man the uk was built out of hills, rain and clay so there’s probably a comparable run somewhere. And it would look like this mid July.

 @willdavidson9595: youve obviously never ridden the golfie, or any hillside is south wales if you regard that as gnarly.

 @b45her: you've obviously never ridden windrock or ranger camp if you regard that as gnarly.

 @willdavidson9595: just looks like any old well groomed, wide as a motorway bike park to me. looked more damp than dire.

 @b45her: He was riding Talladega, a trail very different from anything at windrock. Everything else at windrock is steep rocky and technical.

 Nowhere near vile as other UK comments said.... Come to the west coast of Scotland wherr it's raining all year except 4 weeks in the summer and then you'll understand what vile is!

 Beyond vile? There were 2 tiny puddles in the entire video. Only one of them was even ridden through.

 @Erskine-Atom Windrock is absolutely terrifying in the wet. I know that doesn't come across in this video nor does the steepness. I rode there once when it was a bit wet and wouldn't even think about riding after a downpour (unless I was racing). It's just flat out scary.

 @upside: no doubt
And having ridden in the uk, canada, US West and Guatemala... There is nothing to compare it to. It's not "mud" as much as it's concrete mix and just gets worse as the day progresses

 @upside: I'll take your word for it. I'm pretty unlikely to ever get the chance to find out for myself!

 @upside: This there is nothing slicker the eastern us mtns in the mud. It’s clay not dirt and the rocks and roots are everywhere and like ice. Not just mtb either. Read on the enduro Mx guys racing the scrambles in that area. They will tell you it’s the gnarliest lack of traction anywhere.

 Looked hard, couldn't see the vile?!?

 That mud clings. I love it. I love that I can go to Windrock any time of year to ride dust, mud, snow, and frozen dirt depending on the time of year. So so good out there easily my favorite bike park.

 Cool video, I'm guessing it's to promote the bike park's signature fragrance?

 Me!!! It’s going to be awesome!

 Be there in the morning for the awesome freeze thaw that's happening right now. Go from like 30 to zero in on me mud puddle. It's like riding through construction adhesive.
