Practicing my No-Handers at a new bike park sendit mtb
Learning new tricks. The feeling of stomping a new trick that you worked SO hard toward feels soooo good. I've trying to learn a suicide no-hander for about a year. I have a few tips for ya'll for learning new tricks.
1. Practice. It took me a year to get this trick. I started by just lifting my fingers off the bars. I gradually took my hands farther and farther off until I got to this point. Eventually you know can do it and you just SEND IT!

2. Motivation. One thing I find really helpful fo learning new tricks is motivation. I made a little bet with my dad that if I do a sui first try then he would give me fifty bucks. At that point I HAD to do it. So I jsut sent it and once I landed it felt soo good.

3. The location. It is REALLY important to find the right place to learn the trick. You shouldn't be trying to learn no-foot cans on a little kicker ramp. You need a proper training ground. For instance, if you want toe learn to do a backflip, it REALLY pays to have access to a foam pit, air bag, or a jump with a much landing. Same here when you want to land a no-hander. Its always really important to learn new tricks at the proper venue so when you want to do them at a place thats not so good for doing the trick, you can do it there.
