Was able to go to Rotorua for a week which is pretty much the capital of mountain biking in New Zealand. Rained most of the time we were there so this was all I was able to get on film. A couple of Scottish Pinkbike members decided to put on a race at Braefoot in Fife on the 28th of November 2009 and advertised for competitors on Pinkbike. They filled their 25 places and pulled off a great wee race! Cheap, fun, friendly and technologically-simple racing. With race entries becoming really expensive, are races like this the future of downhill mountain biking?
