 all the whips were close but finn had by far the cleanest landing and i thought it was most stylish. he really deserved the win the judges were not being easy on him or anything like that like some people are saying

 They all looked good in my opinion (sure wish I could get anywhere close to them), but you are right Finn seemed to ride his out so smoothly. Almost looks like second nature to him.

 andreu had good whips, bit flatter than the other but he had bad landings, Fin and cruz landed sweet, both got past horizontal in the whip, I gave it to Fin he looked more stylish and relaxed, awesome landing and massive whip. I know others will prefer cruz style. Between the two they both nailed it.

 I'm saying Aggy. Not a good landing but awesome whip and best style in my opinion! In saying that, Finn had an awesome whip!

 AL, EJ, GA all getting criticized for bad landings, but if you watch closely they are hanging it out there longer than most. So the landings get little sketchy with your rear still in front of you! Just my 2 cents

 @doodooboy @billy-bike-club One of the judging criteria was their ability to bring the whip back. Landing sideways is sick but it looks sloppy.

Perfect is for high divers and nerds ......My favorite part about biking is the loose moments.. I get it though ,rules are fun too..

 @riejuspike That's part of a good whip. You're not going to impress the judges if you get sideways and don't bring it back.

man, racing is just so much easier......nothing subjective, no politics, just a clock that tells the truth.

i love whips, i love freeriders, hell, i like to watch slope...........but judging on who's 'the best' at a subjective activity?

doesn't make sense. who's the best artist? the best musician? the best band? the best singer? you can't say who 'the best' with any of that stuff. you can sure declare a favorite, but 'the best'?..........hardly.

the fest series has really got it figured out...............build, show up, shut up, throw down, get wasted. no 'winners and losers'..just a good ol mid 80's 'session'...............

 The judges should rate on sideways landings. Get rowdy with it. Whips held look way better than whips brought back. The balls to stay sideways like that.

 I hate how whenever there is media coverage of a young person who kicks ass and is far above average people come up with harsh statements like "it's because his/her parents spend so much money on bikes for them" etc. it's just jealousy. Finns whip was honestly one if the cleanest steeziest whips I've seen. That's not because he's 14, he could be 24 for all I care, it doesn't change the quality of the whip.

 Nobody commented on money on this comment block. Just opinions on whips. Good on him for being 14 and winning it, I just think it's way bigger when they land sideways. It's sickest whip, not best landing. Leave dirt jump rules with them. I want massive whips, held.

 i watched this video before hearing all the hype about finn or even knowing who he was at all and said "iv never heard of him but he takes it" when voting. He legitimately won, i don't think it was a case of "oh let him have it, hes a kid" at all. fair play. 14?!? what the f%@k?!

 It was definitely RDog, but at whip offs the podium spots never really mattered. It is about having a blast with other riders. Why have quails when there were 10 minute breaks between the riders hitting the jumps. More riders would have been better. All these regulations this year ruined it.

 Finn put it as far out there as anyone. It was super dipped, AND he brought it back 100%. Clear winner with no bias IMHO.

 Bernardo brought his back straight... Its all based on opinion and partial bias like any other judged events. If it was highest whip, farthest or whatever (something quantifiable) then it would be different. End of the day pretty well everyone there throws unreal whips, I like Brendog, Danny Hart and Aggys styles the best but thats just me and my bias Smile

 Agassi whipped the furthest, in my opinion, but Finn had the cleanest and most consistent landings. Well done Finn!

 finn has some of the cleanest whips, even though all of them have steez, finn lands exactly straight, some of the other land a little sideways, not that it really matters, but i thought it made them look a lot better

 Finn can't whip left, or he didn't whip left. Sorge should have been on the list, he was a foot higher than the rest and full sideways. The kid handles by any age standard but the variation from sorge, the claw and lacondeguy get daps from me!
