LAST LIGHT CINEMA AND OFFSET BUSHINGS PRESENTS

FROM THE UK TO WHISTLER

We're fortunate to have a highly talented group of riders working with us - so we joined up with our good friends at Last Light Cinema to put together a video showcasing what some of them are up to!

You’ll see Pat Campbell-Jenner shredding trails on the North Downs in preparation for his 2015 Enduro Season and, a little further south, Si Parsons onboard his Offset Bushings-equipped Turner DHR. Of course, every great video needs a Whistler segment and we were lucky enough to shoot Nick Dethridge whilst he was out on the mountain!

Thousands of riders across the globe have been enjoying the benefits of Offset Bushings. The ability to adjust your bikes geometry in such a simple and inexpensive way has made them incredibly popular.

Si Parsons - "I'm heading to the Alps this summer so I wanted to make my bike a little slacker to cope with steeper tracks - my DHR is now handling better than ever!"

Pat C-J - "Lowering my bottom bracket has meant my Banshee Rune now rails corners better than any bike I've ever ridden"

Sam Brightman - "I've run Offset Bushings on all my bikes since 2012 - they just make them that little bit more fun!"

Hope those offset bushings don't Rune his Banshee.
  • + 3
I'm wondering if they might actually, since Banshee's usually use roller bearings for all the pivots.

I'll retract that last comment, didn't realise they're just to replace the shock bushings.

Alas on my new Commencal v3 FR, the shock bolts are the same diameter as the holes so there is no room to offset anything and therefore they wont fit, pity as used them in the past and are a cheaper/easier way than using offset headsets.

rogate and whistler in the same video :O haha

Used them on my old Norco Sight and using them on my new Orange Alpine 160. No problems and a doddle to fit.

Got them in my enduro, great idea.

They did butcher the song a bit to make it fit. The Album really is quite something

Haven't stopped playing it since my last comment. Fantastic and will be great for the long drives to wherever the ride is.

 Anyone here using them?
  • + 2
Jeron from Offset Bushings here - I'd say around 1/3 of our orders are actually from Pinkbike users, so there are plenty about!
  • + 2
 Yep
  • + 1
 What do they do?
  • + 3
@bikehard11 - they slacken your head angle and lower your bottom bracket height. Effectively making the bike more stable at higher speeds / on steeper tracks and allow you to hit corners harder as you'll have a lower centre of gravity.
  • + 1
Why haven't I heard of them?! That's a pretty sweet option to have..
  • + 2
@bikehard11 we're a small company producing them, we have sent them all over the world for the last few years however. You can find out more at www.offsetbushings.com

Cheers!
