RockShox Recon Gold RL & Recon Gold TK 120mm

$50 GBP
I am selling 2 pairs of forks as I no longer have any use for them. They are; -RochShox Recon Gold RL 120mm Travel 15mm Thru Axle QR SOLO AIR (BLACK) TAPERED STEERER 1 1/8 to 1 1/2 These forks have been de stickered and re painted, with one Rock Shox sticker re applied (Paint is starting to peel on the bridge, but this could be easily remedied with Heli Tape). The stanchions and seals are in good condition (There is one very small mark on the right hand stanchion, shown in pictures), and the fork is very reliable and feels very plush. Lockout is also fully functional. -Rockshox Recon Gold TK 120mm Travel 9mm QR SOLO AIR (WHITE) TAPERED STEERER 1 1/8 to 1 1/2 These forks have been lightly used, largely for short commuting. The paint job has various scuffs and marks on it, but there is no structural damage to the forks. The stanchions and seals are in very good condition, and the fork is very reliable and feels very plush. Lockout is also fully functional. *PLEASE NOTE* - Steerer tubes on both forks have been cut down, please ask for exact length. They fit fine in any small bike (DJ bike or kids bike, or any small sized frame with a reasonable length headtube). Crown races and star nuts are also installed. These can be removed on request. Ideally I would like to sell them together for £90, but can sell them seperately at £50 each. PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE POSTAGE Thanks for your time!

Sram Apex 2x10 Road Shifters *BRAND NEW*

$60 GBP
I have some brand new, never fitted Sram Apex 2x10 Shifters in original packaging for sale. The only damage is the very light damage done to box, from about 2 years of sitting in a conservatory. I originally bought these to replace some Shimano Shifters on my road bike, however I ended up buying a groupset for that instead. All fittings (Cables Inner & Outer, ferrules etc.) are included and in their original packaging. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to get in contact with me. Please note PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE POSTAGE Thank you!

COVE STD (SMALL) W/ 180mm TOTEM *PRICE DROP*

$540 GBP
I am selling my Cove STD 2010 (Small Frame) as a complete bike. I have barely used the bike since buying it 2 years ago (twice at Rogate) and have since realised that my hardtail does everything I need it to. As expected of a used DH bike, there are scratches and chips, however there is no structural damage to any of the components. Please see below for a full spec list: Frame: Cove STD 26'' Small - Easton RAD Tubing Fork: Rockshox Totem w/ Mission Control 20mm Thru Axle Shock: Fox DHX 5.0 Wheels: Hope Pro 2 hubs built onto Mavic EN521 Rims Tyres: Schwalbe Magic Mary 2.5 EVO DH Brakes: Avid Elixir 1 200mm Rotor Front, 180mm Rear Shifter: Sram X5 9sp Rear Mech: Sram X9 9sp Chainset: Raceface Evolve DH Chain Device: Raceface D2 DH Handlebars: Kore Torsion 780mm Low Rise Stem: Raceface D2 CONDITION REPORT: Frame: Minor cosmetic scratches, all bushings run very smoothly (one bearing is held in place by a standard nut and bolt, this is something the previous owner installed, and as it works perfectly I have seen no reason to replace it) Fork and Shocks: Perfect working order, no damage to stanchions or seals Wheels & Tyres: Hubs run perfectly, rims are true, and tyres have only ever seen very light use in sandy conditions Gears: Chain and cassette are not stractechd so have loads of life in them, shifter and derailleur work seamlessly Brakes: Brakes feel extremely responsive, no bleeding required, with lots of life left in pads If you have any questions regarding the bike, please get in contact and I will get back to you as soon as you can. As i already have a bike that I can use, I am not looking to trade for another bike/parts etc. I am however open to reasonable offers. Please note PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE POSTAGE Thanks a lot!

The Evolution of the Specialized Enduro
'Though Specialized owns five patents surrounding the shock extension concept, they clearly haven't fought to keep it out of other companies' hands--it's a feature that's popped up on plenty of competitors' bikes since then' The funny thing is, this is precisely the reason they 'had to' take action against Cafe Roubaix, as they were 'legally obliged to protect their patents' I genuinely feel like Specialized's Legal, Marketing, R&D etc etc departments are run by entirely different companies

Official Video: Crankworx Rotorua DH
I'm quite surprised given the huge deal Crankworx made of fronting equal prize money for men and women alike, that in their official video, they chose to only highlight the first place in the Women's, yet highlight the whole podium in the men's. Surely financial equality should be running alongside equality in media coverage, and essentially respect of the women finishing 2nd and 3rd? It seems a shame, as it was really quite nice to see a relatively unimportant and unknown discipline and event (I'm talking in the grand scheme of things of the cycling world as a whole, I in no way hold this opinion) really pioneering with a push against a traditionally patriachal sport. The women are just as enjoyable and inspirational to watch, and this is perfectly summed up in the very last part of this video from the EWS track over on Vital http://www.vitalmtb.com/videos/features/Corner-Carnage-Enduro-World-Series-Rotorua,28517/sspomer,2 But still, respect Crankworx nonetheless, you didn't need to give out equal amounts of dough, but you are, just don't shoot yourself in the foot too soon. (Also this whole event has been super enjoyable to watch, props)

Video: Is Bernard Kerr's Life Better Than Yours?
I'm sorry, what? Im going to assume you have researched that about transference of motorbike engineering dude, and if so I'd be genuinely interested in the facts behind it. But I promise you it's down to the rules of the highway, it's in our Highway Code and I can only imagine it's in foreign equivalents.

Video: Is Bernard Kerr's Life Better Than Yours?
It's down to the side of the road we drive on. If driving on the left side of the road (like Brits Aussies etc) and you want to signal right, as in crossing incoming traffic. You will be using your rear brake whilst only controlling the bike with one hand, as the other hand will be out 'signalling'.Therefore meaning you are less likely to go over the bars, as opposed to grabbing a load of the front brake.
