In the newest chapter of Trail Tales, we ride through the history of the legendary Mont Blanc peak, which has seen the birth, growth and development of the most technical sports, including climbing, trail running, mountaineering and paragliding.

On this culminating peak in the Alps, many types of ascents have occurred: first ascents, winter ascents, and races for the fastest ascents or the most technically difficult ones.

In “Merci, Mont Blanc,” Damien Oton and Virginia Cancellieri bring the stories hidden behind the mountain to the forefront with their Rise. Their journey takes them on a loop through the Chamonix Valley, where flowing trails let them discover the mystique of this peak and enjoy MTB to the fullest.

Yes can't be more agread i was mtbguide in Chamonix, working to try educated peoples to respect the trails and the other users to keep them open to mtb, its make me sad to see videos like that who will give reason to the peoples who want to close more trails to mtb, already lot of trails are not alowed to mtb anymore during summer in the valley sadely its not gonna help...

You are so on point!!! Orbea should be ashamed of themselves for posting a video promoting the destruction pristine and fragile alpine environment. Looking at this video, it is no wonder that mountain bikers get a bad rep. Where is the respect for the environment in which we ride?

 Fully agree. Stupid, pointless skidding.

@dbblackdiamond: I 100% agree. I only skid on my local/ backyard trails because I am the one maintaining them. go skid in a bike park where the trails are going to get wrecked anyways.

This damn "Ganfalf" commentator could have learned how to pronounce Mont Blanc properly, that's a minimum.
Horrible riding BTW, squiding and destroying paths. What a bad publicity Orbea.
An extraordinary place to visit anyway, it's so huuuuge!
