Head to the heart of Hérault in the south of France, with Thomas Escudier and his Orbea Rise.
Thomas takes us for his version of an easy morning ride where we get to experience the magnificent sites between the Hérault gorges, the village of Saint Guilhem le Desert, and the climb of Mont Saint Baudille.

Wonder how some people can shred so hard when riding alone. Solo rides see me taking zero risks. Massive credit to Thomas for going for it like that all the time and to his camera man for the amazing shots!!
First company to put out a sub £6k enduro version (170/170 say) of one these lightweight ebikes has my money. Essentially a (much) cheaper Kenevo SL.
I love the Orbea approach of using the what I imagine to be more reliable and hopefully longer supported Shimano motor, rather than having something really proprietary like the Spec bikes.
I want to improve my skills on something that rides like a normal bike, but also allows me to self-shuttle to get more laps in as I have limited time to ride.
I feel like YTs new 10% down reservation payment structure is such a flex. After covid shortages die down and if they can increase production they're going to nab so much market share. Like, I have a decoy preordered and am confused how it happened. Why am I not just spending an extra few K outright on the bike I actually want? This one.
Bike looks too small for him and why put the on/off switch on the seattube? Lighter weight I guess, classic Orbea. The climbing and carry a bike sections could have been left out.
