Take a trip down the famous Wanganui DH trails with Oceania U19 Champ Ben Watkins as he opens up into some autumn loamy goodness. Ben will be racing under team Norco Development at the DH World Championships and select World Cups this year so make sure to keep an eye out for this up and coming pinner.
That was insane. I cant understand why there`s no world cup stop in New Zealand yet. They seem to have the nicest DH Tracks in the World, remember the Smith/Atherton Segment in Follow Me....
Thank you! Loam (actually a type of soil consisting of a combination of sand, silt and clay) is very good for gardening, and is completely different than duff/organics/needles. While I find myself occasionally referring to "loam" while riding, I try to correct, and re-refer to it as duff. Not quite as much of a buzzword, but at least it's accurate.
Loam is made of sand silt and clay and that mix is good for gardening. Thank you for your accurate description. Here I was thinking loam is dirt made up of organic material instead of just sand silt and clay. Silly me.

My definition of loam right here!
great riding man!
(Note that across the ditch we have a very prominent biker who also rides for norco by the same name. Big coincidence)
