The $30 price of cleats means I treat the whole Candy 1 pedal as a system, and buy a new set for $60 as needed. This is somewhat wasteful, granted. Those running mallets might have other more expensive or difficult problems. the interface is aces. They could definitely have better spindle assemblies.

@noapathy: if I remember correctly, the Rheon insert in Rapha trail pads gave them the best impact diffusion in an enduro mag test of any without a hard shell. I figure it’s a better 3DO. So my ears are open.

A bike with 450 reach and a 76 degree SA fits similar than a 460 reach with with a 78 degree SA (if we are talking on the bike feel)
I mean, I guess you’re right if you decide based on seated position. Which is less important than standing position. But even then your balance of weight on hands is not the same.
Steepening seat tubes and adding reach does not leave one with the same riding experience.
