All I can think while watching this, is just wow. What an amazing story of such a talented rider depicted by in my opinion one of the best videographers in the world. I'm sure everyone at pinkbike, and myself included massively appreciate the effort that everyone involved has gone to, to make us just that much more stoked to ride this weekend!

 AMEN!
All this trellis ("north woods") riding is getting my juices flowing.
I crave wood.
I must go.
I must go to the woods and get wooded.

Jeez @lilyoneill48 what a stroke of luck, as you don't sound that skilled or employable.

Holy fudge. Those shots are absolutely amazing! When you could see the heat coming from his shirt after the dirt jump shots way just mind blowing. This is by far one of the greatest videos i've seen! Thanks for sharing it!

This is not just an "Edit", this is ART!
  • 7 0
True. And furthermore, whoever was involved with building that last line put in a tremendous amount of time. That too is a piece of art!
  • 3 1
Amir said in an interview on mtb-news.de, that he was digging and building for 7 months on that line ;-)
  • 2 0
I'm surprised it was only 7 months! The guy's a machine...
  • 1 0
 "only" 7 months?!
  • 30 1
Dirt jumping segments have been getting so tired, over done, and just boring over the past few month, but there was just something different about that dirt jump segment that made it a lot more interesting and enjoyable to watch. The filming was awesome. Good work!

Definitely Sweet! A DJ bike and DJ trix...but not a typical DJ setting....more old school Freeride DH shuttle trail that most of us are just happy to send on our DH bikes Smile

My computer almost exploded after trying to watch this in 2160p.....cool vid though.....

I also tried to watch in 4k, barely made it out alive! Either way, one of many favorite dirt jump segs in a long time. Maybe since macduff's darkness vid!

I had the pleasure to ride with him,it was simply awesome!
But for me, I think, he is unfortunately to unknown in the big slopestylescene! Frown
He is so good, he has so much steez and he is simple an awesome rider!
I hope to see another Part in the future Smile

How cool. What is the song name - love to purchase it.

good to see amir back on his bike rippin it after his crash with a broken back.

Not your usual 'pull up to the trailhead, unload bike, put on goggles in slo-mo' intro which is a nice change. Riding was killer, as it always seems to be from Amir. Nice filming makes it that much better.

First of all what an amazing piece of video, Mr. Kabbani has killed it once again,
Although, because i ride and love GT anyone else notice that to my eye i dont think that DJ bike was a La Bomba, maybe a new GT DJ bike? could be wrong...
  • 2 0
Perfect edit. The intro wasn't too cliché, just enough slowmo, nice little song and lots of good lighting that conveyed a great vibe... I'm not a huge fan of DJ edit but the segment kept me interested all the way through. I don't know Amir but he seems like a really focused, low key and down to earth guy and we need more of those. Keep up the awesome work.

I need this guy to tape my wedding! Imagine how more epic peoplegrapher could make it! In 20 years you'd still want to sit down and watch it with the missus.

That was so sick. Good music and Amir rips so hard
  • 1 0
As a fellow trail builder, damn fine work. As a rider I say, "Holy f*&kin sh!t." Great job capturing it all through the lens. I'll never forget the caterpillar from the 1st one lol
  • 2 0
That's Alan Watts speaking in the intro...look him up, get your head blown.
  • 2 0
exactly man! Its good to see Amir riding and its good to see Alan speaking.. Too bad not too many people know about any of them!
  • 1 0
That was really awesome. I really enjoyed the cinematography. I was also very surprised to see an XS energy drink sponsorship. It seems Amway has come a long way.
  • 3 0
That was truly a pleasure to watch.

Hey does anyone know the name/location of that second trail? The one with all the wood features. Thanks!
  • 1 0
At mtb -news.de there is an interview of Lukas Thielke and Amir Kabbani about I-T-W 3, its says that the whole film was shot in latsch and in Boppard, so I guess in Boppard Smile
  • 1 2

The begining trailride was not the yellow of the eg but the slopestyle part was just awesome!!!!!
  • 3 0
 So good
  • 2 0
 best cinematography of the year...

I was skeptical on the first two videos by this peoplegrapher guy, and now I'm 100% convinced his "style" is a lot of direct ripping from a well known indie-filmmaker vimeo.com/100093054
  • 5 0
Salomon Ligthelm is super rad, but I wouldn't say that he owns that style of filmmaking in the slightest. The Alan Watts trend might have worn a little thin by now, but damn I thought that this piece was super well-done, nice work guys

i guess no more dump threes now that his wheel size increased?

Still Siiiiiiiiiick video!

Awesome video. But I hate it when I've heard the same song in a previous bike film. There's more than enough music to go around.
