Chromag Announces Its First High Pivot Bike
The graphs are the best. A lot of science went into those!

Endura Planted Over 1.3 Million Trees in 2020, Aiming to Become Carbon Negative by 2024
Carbon from fossil fuels used to be deep underground. Bring it to the surface and it's now in our ecosystem. The trees will grow and absorb carbon, so it works short term, but in the long run they will die and rot or burn and release that carbon. Even if used as lumber that will only delay the rotting or burning. Unless you cut down the trees and stuff them back into the oil hole deep underground never to be seen again then its not really carbon neutral. It's better than doing nothing, but reducing the carbon use in the first place is the real solution.

Photo Epic: Jordie Lunn's Rough AF 3
He was a few inches from getting a Darwin Award on that tree. I'm not sure I get the point of it.

Float Plane Crash on Tyaughton Lake in the South Chilcotin Mountains Not Tyax Adventures
I'm pretty sure the majority of the float plane traffic on that lake is the one Tyax plane that takes riders into the alpine lakes. It's a pretty remote lake and it was the first thing I thought of when I heard about this in the regular Canadian news. I'm glad to hear the guys there are OK, and I'm sure the word choice was not intentional. Condolences to those involved.

Ride the Best of BC with evo This Summer
Looks like a great trip, but for the record, the last 6 article photos are probably from 2 days on the trip in the South Chilcotins. The other spots are great riding for sure, but the whole week won't look like most of the photos.

Manitou EFC fixer-upper fork

$10 CAD
You don't want to buy this fork. I think I might just chuck it, but maybe someone wants it for parts. An Answer Manitou EFC fork with a 1" steer tube, which is pretty rare. Tube is 6-1/4" long. I think this is from about 1996 based on a google search. I got it to revive and old but lightweight bike, but it's been outgrown by the kids. I rebuilt this and seem to recall that some elastomer in it was compressed. I could not find the right seals, so it would ooze oil if the bike was not stored upright. I'd be happy enough to just throw this in the garbage, but thought maybe someone has an old classic and could use the parts. I'd consider giving it away, but am asking $10 due to the hassle of packing and shipping, and I don't want a line-up of hoarders who want it because it's free, just so someone else can throw it out 20 years from now. How's that for a sales pitch? Oh, BTW, the steer tube is not threaded, and I will throw in some parts of the threadless headset stuff, which was crappy low end stuff from a road bike, which I never got to work as cleanly as it should have. Can also throw in a stem. I can take pics if you want, and you can read some tech stuff on it here http://www.mtb-kataloge.de/Bikekataloge/PDF/Manuals/Manituo_EFC.pdf
