Trek's Fox Float Thru Shaft Shock - Review
At least with RockShox, there is a nitrogen or air chamber on a small reservoir - I understand this is to keep pressure on the oil and allow for thermal expansion. A much smaller IFP sits in this reservoir, but the IFP movement would be minimal as it is only compensating for thermal changes, not the volume of oil displaced by a piston.
