Giant Trance X3

$360 GBP
Giant Trance X3, size small to fit someone 5ft 6 or under, in good working order. The forks (RockShox Reba, with lockout) and shock (Fox Float RP) both function well. The fork has recently received a full service (lowers, air spring and damper cleaned and re-lubed), while the shock has received a more basic air can service. There are a fairly significant number of scratches to the lowers of the forks, as well as a couple of smaller scratches and one chip in the stanchions, these have been included in the pictures. This has not compromised the fork seals and there is no discernible leakage from the wiper seals. The frame itself has all the marks and scuffs associated with a used bike as well as a small dent on the downtube, just aft of the bottom bracket. This was sustained early in my ownership of the bike (originally purchased in 2009) and does not appear to have compromised the structural integrity of the frame. The drivetrain is in reasonable condition and both the front and rear derailleur shift well. Both the bottom bracket and headset have recently been serviced and are working well. Overall the bike functions well and would represent a capable first bike for a prospective new rider. Can post the bike for £40 + PayPal fees.

Mavic Crossmax XL Wheelset

$90 GBP
These wheels are in reasonable condtion despite having been fairly well used on my hardtail. They will require truing by the buyer, with both wheels somewhat (perhaps 5-7mm) of true in the horizontal and vertical axis. There is a very small dent in both rims that I have included in the pictures; this has not affected the wheels' ability to hold air. Asides from this both wheels are in good condition, both hubs spin freely and have been regularly serviced and the bladed spokes and proprietary nipples are in good condition. I can also include a set of 5 Mavic bladed spokes in the sale. Payment by cash or PayPal, can post at buyers expense.

Video: How to Mountain Bike Safely During COVID-19
@stuartpenney: I mean 'quiet' in absolute as well as relative terms - a couple of other friends, a nurse and another junior doctor, working in a different hospital corroborate this. Notwithstanding the brief flare up in drunken and disorderly admissions on V.E. day, A&E appears to be seeing well below capacity admission rates. I absolutely agree that the quietness of hospitals is by no means a good thing, in fact around a third (roughly 3500 of 11,000 total) of excess deaths, measured on a weekly basis, in the UK over the last few are postulated to be caused by the severe affect this is having on diagnosis and treatment of non-Covid related conditions. The particular and pertinent question for us in this forum, is whether drastically altering our risk-calculus with respect to riding, riding more cautiously and in less demanding environments, is necessary or even helpful. If it is true that hospitals are at no immediate risk of being overwhelmed and are, in fact, operating at levels significantly below normal, what are we actually seeking to achieve by adopting such a cautious attitude?

My sister works as a junior Dr in a Covid ward and says the rest of the hospital, particularly A&E, has never been so quiet. Similar story across the UK it would appear.
