I really believe people should be able to choose to live, love and ride any way that makes them happy........... ......so long as it doesn't involve a 29 inch wheel DH bike, it should be illegal, it's morally wrong, I can't believe I'm bringing my child up in a world that condone's this...it's just. so. disgusting. it makes me sick to my stomach...that extra inch and a half of diameter...blurgh, it's barely a bike...shame on you Greg. Shame.

Air DH is supposed to be just a quick track with lots of jumps, berms and tables, without rock gardens etc. Air DH in Rotorua was a good example if you care to look it up? Judging from the video here I understand the line between DH and Air DH was somewhat less obvious in Les Gets...

came about from crankworks in whistler, where the real DH race took place on the Canadian Open course (with mods over the years to link up stuff), and the A-Line DH race was the "Air DH"which is essentially just a race down Aline, for which other crankworks have adapted the format.
