BOS Suspension Opens Its First International Office

by Pinkbike Staff
The new office located in Las Vegas, NV will act as a sales office and service center for the North American market. It will also mark the first time that MTB, MX and off-road products are offered under the same umbrella.

A North American office was the next logical step for us. It is a very important market for both consumers and our OEM partners. The office will also help supply our South American dealers.” - Olivier Bossard Founder and CEO of BOS.

BOS Suspension also partnered with Suspension Werx and S4 Suspensions to better serve our Canadian customers.

BOS Suspension created a specific website for the North American market bos-suspension.com where consumers can learn more about our offering. BOS Suspension is also looking for established sales rep in both the USA and Canada. Please send your resume to reps@bos-suspension.com.

Just FYI w/ BOS.. : Amazing suspension, Horrible service-- :/
- waited 9 months to get a spring ?? Crazy!!!
- I had my fork sent in 3 x's for the same issue
- Near impossible to get a hold of-- would occasionally respond if they feel like it
- I bought a new Idylle Air, before even riding it-- tons of play within stanchions after mounting it, I have to pay to have it warranty repaired in the first week???
- Then they hired a shady US Rep who ended up doing some shady stuff (wont go into details) , and he bails out of the office. ALL of the customer suspension repairs and warranty's were left behind abandoned!!!!! . after 2.5 months of emails, I finally get a response from headquarters, and they said he was "sick." Then it took another 4-6 weeks after bombarding them with more emails to get my older fork back from warranty repair (3rd time). AND they tried charging me $50 on top of all that cuz their rep stripped one of my bolts- I came unglued !!! so a total of 4 months to get my fork
- And the best they can do after all this (and more) is offer me a 25% discount on buying new forks and rear shock!!??

- Recommendation. Get Fox, upgrade w/ Avalanche internals (same internals w/ more options), or Ohlins-- they are branching out with more stuff in the near future.

Suspension werx knows their shite. What confuses me is why Las Vegas? I mean its somewhat close to bootleg for riding....you would thing they would pick a distribution location closer to a port of shipping or a robust ride scene. Just seems like a weird choice to center yourself in the desert.

Except that Vegas is pretty epicenter for alot of riding in the United States. There isn't just Bootleg (which is pretty awesome), but within a reasonable drive in virtually any direction, you can reach riding that really does rival anything we have here in Canada. Yes Vegas is close to (if not in) a desert, but the areas around are still quite hilly with some pretty phenomenal riding. If you haven't travelled to that part of the US to go riding, and especially if you haven't ventured a few hours out of Vegas in any direction to go riding... you are really missing out and need to add it to your riding bucket list.

And, lets not forget Interbike...

I was talking this over with the guys at Suspensionwerx. Vegas warehouse space is CHEAP. They dont need to be in a port location, they will be servicing North America for the most part.

Good move, no reasonable person would buy a suspension product without support on their continent. Now they just need one in Canada.

"BOS Suspension also partnered with Suspension Werx and S4 Suspensions to better serve our Canadian customers." - I have to say the folks in SuspensionWerx are quite a good bunch to deal with, that's good enough for me.

 yea they are sick

 nothin wrong with s4 either!

It took S4 FOUR times to figure out that my Manitou Swinger has a hairline crack that caused it to leak oil. That's four separate shipments out to Quebec from Ontario, at approximately 3 weeks per service. When they finally figured it out, I was offered a 10% discount off their cost on a new X-Fusion O2 RCX. They then sent me the wrong size X-Fusion...and I had to wait an additional month or so for the right size to come in stock again.

I basically did not get to go biking at all this year because of this ordeal.

ive heard mixed thing about s4, if everyone dwelled on the f*ck ups no brand would be good @valtra that suck tho man , theses things are why it pays to become friends with you lbs....

"A Hairline crack".....its name is the inherent problem...one can not see a hairline crack. S4 is hands down a very good shop and have supported the MB scene in quebec and ontario tirelessly and he has saved my ass at more then a few races with FREE service....and i am a nobody....S4 gets all my business, my friends business, my race teams business...People make mistakes and material and parts fail......this is life in the MB world......I LOVE MY S4 SHIZZZ

The service I received was poor, but I am also well aware of S4's involvement in the MTB scene, especially racing. Maybe he has bitten off more than he can chew? Between dealing with his suppliers, maintaining his sponsored riders, and supporting the amateur riders like yourself at the races, there is not much time for paying customers like me. Unfortunately, S4 is the best option for Manitou service East of Suspension Werx's territory so I had no one else to send my shock to.

Let's just hope 2015 goes better and I get to really put the X-Fusion to the test. It seems like a great product, and I am willing to bet that S4 will do a better job when it needs to be serviced (newer product, better parts availability, more knowledge of the technology and potential/common issues)

I have a manitou darado and i had to wait months for seals.......manitou althought great suspension (darado/ Mattoc) their north american supplier does not carry any product for service.....I know s4 buy all of the suppliers stock as soon as its in....and thats not alot
x fusion is sick got it on my trail bike

S4 is garbage!! If you want to ruin your fork or shock and put your life on the line go there, had a buddy send his fox van rear shock only to have it redone by ogc. With sone rather ghettoed up parts put in it. for Fox products its a big nono, as for Rockshox im sure its the only place to send it in. .
  • 1 1
U can send rockshox to Live to Play through your local dealer. Usually pretty quick turn around time

Rock Shox have not been good. Sent my monarch in approximately 3-4 weeks ago and it returned making the same malfunctioning noises it made when i first sent it. So $150 and Im sending it in yet again. Will go with an rp23 next time and not waste my time.

haha wut. youre talking like its not one of the most prolific bikes ever produced
  • 1 2
thats actually trek/giant/garyfisher , just another bike people buy without looking for some suspension design
  • 1 1
my comment still stands, and is still true. the enduro is one of the most prolific bikes ever produced
  • 1 2
because they redesigned it 50 times? yea my dad has a stumpy rigid under the deck . its sooo much like the new one in every way! #sameshitchangingthepile
  • 1 0
yes, but that doesnt change the fact that the enduro is one of the most prolific bikes ever produced, which, despite your well thought out arguments, is still true.

This is the most ridiculous comment. Seriously. If you have a dislike for certain brands, so be it. But a comment like this smacks of genuine ignorance.
  • 2 0
Ppl get way to offended these days. Who cares if someone prefers popular brands or boutique brands. They both work.

 what ever
