 Cool mix of tracks. I hope the organisation can live up to Si Paton's high benchmark.

 I may be wrong but isnt bringewood in England and ft bill in scotland. Race organisers were invited to apply and venues from what i understand were chosen by bc from what the organisers offered.
How many English race organisers applied to run on the many english dh tracks available?

 @mx2strokes: None.

 exactly, people moan about all the racing being in wales but who is actually making any attempt to build tracks in england? Who do you think built these tracks? It wasnt british cycling.

 3x Wales 2x Scotland 1x England 0x Northern Ireland So could be worse, you could be Irish

 @toad321: Rostrevor in Northern Ireland would be a perfect venue. 3 and a half minute track, excellent spectating areas, large finish arena, appropriate camping, coffee, toilet and shower facilities. Issue is people would have to get a ferry, and so everyone else can understand what us northern irish lads have to do if we want to race a national series!

 @ArchieDH: I think it would be cool as long as you can still drop a round from the series, that way the people who cant afford the trip over can drop that round.
The series defo needs more variety, its no fun doing the same venues year after year

 @mx2strokes: Yea exactly, thats perfectly fair.
