Going to be pretty embarrassing when Bernard wins this thing without doing a trick, I've been saying for years that the incentive for tricks isn't worth it, I'm actually stoked to see someone try my theory out and watch it actually happen.

Just watched him win the second run. WTF is going on here. That kind of makes it no fun doesnt it? If that's how he can win then more power to him but that seems broken when you can win without even taking a hand or foot off the bike.

I'm not a huge fan of the "game" for this exact reason @JoseBravo. It's just 4x if you can get bronze without anything more than a whip.

Agreed. the weighting on the tricks is too low. They should rename it Speed, Speed & a little bit of Style

I mean honestly, Soderstrom v Kerr, slope pro vs DH pro. Kerr knows he has no chance of competing in tricks, well done for accepting that and playing to his strengths, but as others have said, Speed and Style to me should encourage riders to lay down the biggest tricks they've got. There's no points for second place unfortunately, so if you know you can't beat the slope buy why try.
