Because of the music I thought there would be some content about Kelly in the end. Rip McGazza, this year's Crankworx could be your special one, you will be missed deeply.
Every man should learn how to do a Haka properly. I was there back in January at Te Puia. Did the Haka and shit. It was awesome. Truly. Again, every man should learn how to do one properly at least.
I can appreciate the opening ceremony. Its their culture. If anyone hasnt seen the "Hakka" yet. YouTube "nz all blacks hakka". Its like an acceptance to war that their national rugby team does before a match.
lets be serious ... this cultural opening thing is kinda ridiculous right ? I mean George Branningan or Sam Blenkinsop don't make a warrior dance before dropping in their race run ...
I'm with joshaimes. Love the culture and welcome to the riders. For those who've traveled, you come to love and appreciate your culture. I'm sure the riders from New Zealand were down with it.
This was a traditional welcome by the local Maori to their land, they are showing the event and the visitors a lot of respect by doing this. Are you suggesting the NZ riders dont respect their culture- maybe you should ask Wyn?
