Australian pinner Dean Lucas announced on his Instagram that he will continue riding for Intense Factory Racing in 2018. Lucas, who was on Devinci Global Racing in 2016, signed with the new team for the 2017 season and had one of his best seasons, with a career-best second place finish at Mont Sainte Anne, besting his third-place finish at Lenzerheide in 2015. He finished off the 2017 season with a ranking of 23rd and a 12th place finish at World Champs.
We haven't heard anything from Dean's teammates, though with the year that fellow Aussie, Jack Moir had, it would be unfortunate for Intense if he were to go elsewhere. Nik Nestoroff (17) and Charlie Harrison (19) are also yet to confirm if they'll remain with the team.
Rippers! Hope the team stays together. It's great to see Intense and these guys doing so well at a high level! And it's downhill!!! As cool as enduro is it doesn't compare to watching DH, for me at least.
Hope he continues to unlock the potential he has
