Is anyone else grumpy that neither of the race winners are available to pick for XC fantasy?

 It's a shame for pinkbike....

Am I the only one who didn’t know there was a fantasy XC league? Can’t see it under fantasy section when browsing on the phone.

I saw it on the feed then went back to fantasy tab and figured it was cancelled because it wasnt on there. Kinda sucks, not like I would have won though haha.

As in all past fantasy leagues, any U23 riders riding in Elite are not part of the selection list (e.g. Sina Frei wasn't available to pick last year, though she rode in Elite all season).

On the UCI list, U23 riders riding in Elite are typically marked with an *. So riders like Loana Lecomte, Laura Stigger would not be expected to be on the fantasy list (despite Lecomte winning).

On the men's side, Andreassen is born in '97, making him 23. Maybe there's some kind of cut-off when putting this league together and he was still categorized as "u23" at the time? The odd thing is the other two '97 born are on the list (Brandl / Colombo).

Either way, we are all working off the same list. It just means the overall final fantasy score is going to be lower than the maximum potential.

Please correct me if im wrong, but normally u23 is up to 22, so anyone 23 and over is in a different age group, were there any other 23 year olds that weren't on the list?

 Hi @sarahmoore & @edspratt, sorry to bother you… but I have a question:

When is the deadline for picking a team for the second round? will it be before the XCC race on Friday or before the XCO race on Sunday?

Cheers!

Don’t understand the points, why doesn’t the winner get the most points? It seems the most expensive riders get more points even though they didn’t even come close to winning?
  • 1 1
Evie won but Kate got more points?
  • 1 0
@wolfdoodle5017: Evie did not win XCO. You are thinking of short track which does not factor into fantasy points scoring

 @azogas413:
Well that clears things up.

They really should include xco and short track. Also whoever put rider list together phones it in. MVP was well known not to be racing this year in mtb.

Does top 3 get anything at the end?
  • 1 0
A step on the podium and a sense of achievement. tup

Do we get to pick the number 1's in the fantasy league?
