Ha ha that's a bit harsh dude. I must admit though they did make it look pretty lame, and for riders of their level they'd be way better off elsewhere. I don't mind a bit of Les Get, but me and the missus are shit riders!
@SintraFreeride I think your comments are a bit out of date, a couple of years a go I would have agreed but it isn't true now. In this video they rode the easy blue jump line. If you can't find good trails to ride then you aren't looking hard enough. There are a several black park runs now that are more challenging on both the Chavannes and Mont Chery slopes and some wicked unmarked freeride stuff in the woods as well. To say they are not making an effort is simply not fair.
@ddmonkey: That blue trail you speak of is decent I will admit. The rest of the Chavannes side is a joke though. Badly made berms which have not been redone in years but instead just dug deeper or left to become flat. Mont Chery was closed when I went over this year. I dont count unmarked trails as part of the bikepark because they were created by third parties (same reason everyone raves about the Plenay even though officially they only have 3 trails.) Les Gets lack of effort offends me both as a rider and a builder (I work at Chatel bikepark) and as a waste of potential. If you think Les Gets is alright then you should go ride Champery, Crosset or Chatel to see what decent trails are.
@SintraFreeride: Point taken re Chatel etc.. I try to get over there when I can! But effort is being made, with updates to the black and other runs around the Nauchets lift plus some fun new blues and reds, so its improving! Some good natural sections being built in too which is good.
@WolfStoneD: Yes, you are correct, Strava does not give out prizes. We even give out prizes to our "freemium" users. Did you notice that we do not rely on users to generate segments. We get the GPS from the bike parks and "trail match" for much greater accuracy. We do not have multiple random segments, with various user-defined names creating all sorts of confusion. One of the hugely annoying aspects of using Strava at bike parks is that you get credited with a huge climb! The only uphill riding you do all day is from the car park to the lift base, so we disregard the uplift data.

How is it better?
