@MmmBones: He was the first guy to say what's up to me when I got in - Just a very well composed dude - hats off to his family for their awesome teamwork and making this weekend awesome! It's gonna get rowdy!
Now if he could somehow pull off full network coverage he'd be a God. We need this on TV man. Sick lookin track this year. That last 30 seconds ending with the jump by the road is sick. WC TRACK HERE!!!
@IllestT: what's really nuts is when you're there riding and the rut burned into the track from all the World Cuppers who'v ebeen testing there this month is basically a 6-8" slot that you have to hit at the same lean angle as a World Cup racer or get your wheel ripped out of your hands.
It's like being a slot car that leans...or explodes off the tracks. No choice.
Seth and the singlet tramp sampler are jokes, no offense intended but thats just the honest truth, they dilute the sport with all the social media bullshit. More of the real like this, less of the mooching like that
Knowing how fast I felt when I rode this course this past weekend..... And now seeing this man entirely skip over those whoops is the most belittling thing ever..... and I have never been more excited to see it in person in my life. Stoked to watch this madness go down this weekend!
If there is anyone deserving of at least 1 World Cup win this season it has to be Loris Vergier. So talented and fast and has previously come so close. Go Syndicate!
Watched it a second time to try and get an idea where things were going to get difficult in the rain and was so awed I was halfway through before I remembered why I was watching a second time. Looking at that rhythm section just floors me. It was more MX than MTB. Great course, great riders and a world class weekend!
Sick to see Neko crushing some sick fast race runs in the states again!!! Makes me want to go hike a bike. Making USA DH an actual thing again one track at a time. #NOMORECARDBOARDSPINEPROTECTORS
@rcrdrvr: I clowned. Did fine off the burly Middle Finger stuff then fell on flat ground staring at a guy I was catching who was wrecking on the rock wall ride. Lost focus thinking about how to get around him. I was on flat ground and all sucked after that. Lesson learned. ????
@rcrdrvr: I watched every pro hit that section and they all tried all 3 entries. None were faster on entry. The far right off the big wall gave a faster exit across that ditch. I was hitting the berm and hitting it hard every time with plenty of grip so didn't see the sense in tossing off the wall at a slow speed. Even passed a wall ride guy doing it. I knew I could hit it clean even in the mud, but I came in slow and stared at that guy and missed my line.
I know a couple pros actually wrecked coming off the far riders right because they'd hit it too fast and the compression just ate them.
And that for those playing along at home, is pretty much how you do that.
Also, they where just coasting along.. I'm sure they boys will crank he up on the race run.
@bizutch: sooo...I guess there's some dudes injured sure, finally got that win, and 2nd in the standings though...must be sick to ride with Minaar and those 29'ers fit that smooth style well. Now lets see if Shaw can get one.........Bring on MSA!
@rcrdrvr: I want all the riders to stay off the deck for Mte. Saint Anne. Moir, Minnar (who looks like he's slipped this year even prior to injury) Gwinner & everyone else just all need to heal & be sharp for Canada so I can see some action. My money is on Moir.
It's like being a slot car that leans...or explodes off the tracks. No choice.
Never trust anyone who talks more than I do. hah
Loris: makes head motion indicating “it’s alright.”
Too funny. Just an amazing display of skill from both these young gents.
