 Being such a looker can't imagine why the Marin Wolf Ridge is in the sale?

 Given the looks and mixed reviews, you'd probably have to pay me to ride that bike when there are so many better bikes out there

 @Lookinforit: one bike I'd love to demo, for sure
  • 1 1
 @ismasan: You'd have to be drunk first to demo it

 Turner frame. Haha yeah right. Its Black Friday not April Fools Day!
  • 10 3
 I don't get the joke. 1899 USD is a pretty good deal for a full carbon frame or not?

 @cvoc: definitely NOT.

 I don’t get it either. I have had turners and no issues. My all time favourite bike was a 5 spot. Dave Turner is an interesting guy and unlike the big brands will personally answer any comments or question off his website. My guess is you heard something from someone at some point and think it makes you look smart to make a cute little comment on Pinkbike. My guess is you have never been on one. He’s one of the last hold outs on what started this sport. A small business guy trying to do his own thing by doing what he loves. Show some respect

 2007 called, they want their frame back.
  • 4 7
 @service01: Hahaha!! So true :-)

 @cvoc: Its just outdated. 142mm dropouts, 73.5 seat angle (with a 160mm fork), 431mm reach in size L (actually the geo says ~17.0 in, which shows dated thinking in and of itself lol). Don't get me wrong, I loved my Turner Sultan until I realized the geometry was all wrong.

 Don't forget WE ARE ONE WHEELS are 20% off for November too! Got myself a set and damn they look good and had an impressive buying experience.

 Where are you seeing that deal? I don't see it on their website
  • 3 0
 D'amn - this should be called Pink Friday - depending if you have some sort of color blindness on the red color, those prices are NOT Black Friday bargain prices!
  • 3 0
 Need tires for sure but I have no idea what the Maxxis acronyms are or if good price...

 Start studying now and you’ll be up to speed for next year’s Black Friday sale.

 The DH stands for Downhill. F for front R for Rear, but by most accounts it doesn’t matter at all. They all roll, track and make up for most of your mistakes. Just make sure you get a width that’ll fit in your fork/frame and not rub the thing till it falls apart.

All the other letters are alphabet soup, but bring witches if you read them out loud.

Good luck!

 i want the maxxis tires but cant find anything else to make 150 for free shipping

 I buy 4 at a time. But then, I run them on the front and back of two different bikes, so I go through them.

 @mammal: I'm on the fence about what to do right now.. Want to order some Assagais but not sure I would want to switch my front assagai to the rear.. Which is what I had always done with DHF's.. Fronts are usually worthy of still using as a rear, but everyone says Assagai's are too slow for rear.. What do!?!?
  • 1 0
 @gnarnaimo: Haven't ridden Assguy's yet, but I'm now hesitant after seeing how they clog up with mud in sloppy conditions. Riding DH in September, both my buddies were sliding through corners like they were riding on hot dog skins, and my DHF's were clearing like champs... I'm sure there are many other plus' to Assguy though...
  • 1 0
 @mammal: Haven't had any issues with lack of traction personally with the Assagai, that being said I haven't really taken them out in very muddy conditions. In Nanaimo we don't get an abundance of mud though really, in slightly wet/muddy conditions they have performed as well or better than the dhf's IMO. I'm sure in deep muck the tighter spaced knobs would exhibit some issues...probably in the snow too
