 What am I to do? Start a bicycle company?............It's really just the manufacturers who are in control, what if no bicycle was under $50,000? "Well, I do need a bicycle; soooooo.........................." ...................What needs to happen is someone has to step in, and make the stuff at a reasonable cost, because it's outrageous.

 We found someone who smiles a lot. Our model for this was just a stand-in. I don't even remember what he was called.

 I got some last year, i can't see any significant difference to the ones listed here. That said i really like them, they are comfy enough to wear which is the most important thing. My first outing in them was a forty mile ride in the wet and I had no negative side effects (skin was still intact, no chafing, no hot spots) they stayed in place, they're not overly hot (I'm willing to wear them in 90F heat) and so far my knees have been unscathed. In summary, worth it at this price.

 My girlfriend does. All her rides are in the wet. She seems happy, but doesn't say much. The rides aren't anywhere near 40 miles, but every one is smokin' hot. No chafing or hot spots (at least for me). They seem to stay on well, at least when they don't accidentally come off with everything else. I think sometimes she isn't paying attention.
