So a Fox 36 Performance is now more than I paid for my Factory and Performance Elite 36?

I have a 2014 bike for sale for 850 that has a factory fork.

 That's CAD not USD

I'd expect that performace is in CAD not USD

@Unrealityshow: I'm afraid I have to correct you sir...our national currency is, and always has been, the Northern Peso.

I can't imagine why that Giro would be on sale!
  • 2 1
I know there was just a massive heat wave, but that could be a good fatbike helmet with a few small modifications.
  • 4 0
I never got helmets like those. I get it is more protection than a standard bike helmet but at that point why not just include the chin bar?

Tyres are so expensive over in the US.

Here in Germany, you can find Maxxis tyres regularly for 40 € (46ish $). When on sale, they drop to around 30 € (34ish $).

Please keep this a secret. Would you mind deleting your comment so I can continue to buy tires?

3 more years of pandemic shortages and these prices will almost seem good. Almost.

Those Petey valves look JUST like the Tannus ones that suck. The rubber seal separates from the valve really easily, and leaks. Horrible.
  • 2 0
 Ya those suck, avoid
  • 2 0
And also just like ones you can get on Alibaba for about $3/pair shipped...
  • 1 0
 Real talk
  • 1 0
are we talking the rubber cone on the outside that contacts the rim or the o-rings inside that are on the actual valve?
  • 2 0
 @Tmackstab: The rubber cone.
  • 1 0
it doesn't matter if the rubber cone rips off (mine did) because they don't hold air no matter what you do, and they get clogged with Stans really quickly.
  • 2 0
@hamncheez: Yeah, but I'm confident the "not holding air" part is 100% due to there not being a proper bond between the rubber cone and the valve. Even if it's not ripped off, air still escapes between the surfaces.
  • 1 0
@hamncheez: I think that's the $hitty valve cores they come with. I replaced them and they work normally as far as clogging. Haven't had an issue with the rubber cones yet but it seems like they could be replaced with an o-ring. These are maybe worth $3/pair but I can't imagine $42/pair msrp, you know they are paying $2-3.
  • 1 0
@davec113: they are paying less than a dollar a pair.
  • 7 0
 Where is the deal?
  • 3 0
It's pronounced, "dills" bud, you know, like, "they charge you extra for dill dip, at a restaurant".
  • 2 0
I got those shoes and the soles started to peel off from around the inside of the cleat almost right away. I wonder if that is why they are on sale.
  • 2 0
@Jvisscher same but mine came with it already peeling so i sent them back for a refund. No way they will last
  • 3 0
