Anyone else remember when a cheap plastic water bottle was cheap, or am I just this old now?
$12 on sale water bottle. 1st world problems.
  • 2 0
To be fair, water bottles are much better these days. The closure on that Camelback bottle actually seals water tight. I'm not about to order one up, but just say'n, they have improved.

 It's called inflationary gouging!
  • 4 0
@JDFF: agreed, but it a a $5 item at best.
  • 1 0
@StinkyTO: The barter system sounds better and better every year as the value (not amount) of my paycheck decreases.

For anyone interested, I created a tool for finding the best prices on bike stuff
  • 5 0
that's pretty cool, you should add fanatik to the list of shops as well

Cool! maybe a category for Hope tech?
  • 3 0
That tailgate pad sucks. Do not get it. Materials and build quality are awesome, but the design is just stupid. The downtube tie downs are directly in line with the divots for the fork and once your bars are at 90 degrees your wheel will block the spot for the next bike. Great idea, really poor execution.

Edit: I meant the Backcountry goat tailgate pad sucks
  • 6 1

Someone's gonna buy that derailleur and be so sad when it shows up and is 11 speed.
  • 1 0
@zstover: all of my bikes are running on XT 1x11, and I've got no issues with it.
  • 1 0
@Neechy: well, you wouldn't be upset.
  • 2 1
It’s a medium cage. Largest cassette tooth size is 39. If you have the legs to push it, go for it. I’m fat and slow, need that 50t cog with a 30t chainring.
  • 1 0
@Unrealityshow: that's the "capacity" gs 11 speed mechs in 1x rock up to a 46t officially. The long cages are primarily for the crowd that has options up front.
