France top 5! French hard to beat in France arguably the hardest natrural tracks in EWS! First export Sam Hill! Only got Dailly correct in my men's top 3 But nailed the women 1,2,3 in correct order for fantasy league!

You have to be more specific bro. The French from the South of France that are used to ride natural rough and rocky goat trails have done well this weekend. Jay Clementz is behind Sam Hill Wink .

Only one 'local' in the top 6 : Théo Gally. And he's not even a local local since he's from 60-90 minutes away from Millau. His home turf has even more hard pack and rocks. Though like the rest of the french southerners he knows one has to maintain a certain flow through the race.

I take my hat off to all the riders, especially to all the strangers to Millau. Only a pro will ride in those conditions. No way I'm riding in the rain, it's not worth the trip to the hospital lol. Better play in the mud with my MX Big Grin .

Sam is da man. First non-French he seriously rips every track. So consistent, what a legend!

Richie seems to have all the bad luck, that he avoided in the previous two years. What a shame, as he's such a capable rider.

France puts out So many good riders. I was surprised how many were in the dh race today.

@pav4: They almost all come from the same place in the South of France. Over there you become an 'okay rider' or you quit mountain biking haha. It's just so hard to set up a good pace on their trails when you're used to bike specific trails.

Dailly has been killing it! Strange to see how different the podiums have been this year compared to last year.
