It's the time of year we've all been waiting for - The Whistler Mountain Bike Park opens tomorrow and Pinkbike are preparing their big rigs to get involved in all of the action! (Image by Sterling Lorence/SGC)

Stop by the Pinkbike Pits at the base of the park on Saturday between 10am and 4pm if your bike is needing a little love. Jason Louden of Loudenterprise will be on hand to get you back in the park STAT!

Whistler Bike Park opening weekend party

Go Fest will also be taking place with the Go Enduro happening in the Bike Park on Friday evening and the Great Snow Earth and Water race on Sunday. For more info about how to sign up visit the Go Fest website.

As part of opening weekend festivities on Sunday I'll buy a beer (aka give $5) to the first 4 people at the park who say "Dude you must be sponsored". I'm on a moto green Trans TR250 w/ black/white/ red Giro helmet. ( And saying it b/c the guy next to you said it doesn't count. )

 Heal up, buddy! I blew up in Bellingham on the way up TO whistler last July. Couldn't wear 2 shoes till Christmas... 22 weeks. It's back on now. Riding DH again.. just takes time. You''ll get there!
