Fracasnoxteam I don't mean to shit on you or your event specifically. Just in general most of the "FMB" events are nothing more than 2nd rate Bmx Dj Contests, and not even as good as a 2nd rate Bmx contest. What does FMB stand for anyways....?
I"m going to give sxjimmy a giant 'Amen' on this... call it what it is...a BMX event for tiny mtn bikes that nobody else owns or rides but these dudes....
Boo hoo @cp-gang. Keep hating. These contests bring fans out, and others into the sport. Dropping 20+ feet and gapping over 30 feet would have been unheard of in mountain biking 15 years ago, now you're saying that it's not even mountain biking? How big are their wheels? Is it bmx, then? Please, enlighten us.
Awesome events, I really like the emerging set-ups, it enables huge contests to be arranged without the expense of the more complicated locations. Really has helped the sport along the last few years.
It may be a little closer to BMX, but I think you have to be able to ride them before you look down on them.
yes, we are not particularly proud of it. BUT the spot really changed during the last years and there is a huuuuge step down and double. And some berms, really. Most of the time there is too much wind (Montpellier wind city) and the final sadly looks more like a best trick contest...
