 I wouldn't honestly watch the Qualis, I am actually thinking not to watch the thing tomorrow. Last year Lacondaguy was taking forever to decide if he was going to run or not, the year before Strait and Zink took also forever for the wind to settle up, they didn't run either if I remember correctly. I am actually starting to accept that Rampage is kind of a flat show. IMO. The commentators were terrible but it was a terrible fun though.

 @Narro2 well f*ck off then. Its a risky event and if the rider wants to take a few minutes for the wind to die down before sending a 25ft. drop or 70ft. canyon gap, then all for it. The rider's safety is above your expectations of entertainment... but yeah I agree with you about the commentators, that was death to the ears, haha.

 @Narro2 Totally agree dude.Guys competing at the highest level in the sport, doing the gnarliest lines around with commentators that can't help but be emotional during such an event is dumb. Waiting on riders because jumps and step downs are so big that wind factors into landing is only for people that are bored. In fact I wish they would stream the Qualies just so you and me could boycott them, I say we go watch some Golf.

 @wayfarersall, it happens quite a lot with less high-budget/more challenging broadcasts e.g. with the skiing FWT there are always mess-ups and you just see random camera angles/hear random people talking...funny that they’re doing it for Rampage qualies in the first place, though.

 It's just weird. Like they're putting together a highlight reel from qualifying but the whole thing is being broadcast. I suppose they're ironing out all the things that could go wrong so the finals day is silky smooth.

 Doerfling was scored around 65 for his first run, and then on the second he bailed on one of the manmade kickers whilst trying some no foot can or similar (I couldn’t really tell because of the resolution)...so annoying.

 I don't think it's crazy to think that. The judges are human too so if they are seeing the media coverage it could play a roll. I though the same thing last year with Andreu. Seemed like there was a similar hype and you got the feeling that if he was winning if he landed his Run clean. Could also be because he has a sick run and everyone knew it.

 Yup. Nicholi Rogatkin was at 22. He must have crashed. I'm bummed to see that. He's an exciting dude and he's one of the top 4 guys when it comes to tricks. Would have loved to see a cash roll on a big step down. He's got some sick spins and front flips. Etc. Was really hoping to see him make it through. Would have been the other end of the spectrum to the guys that are in there going fast and huge.
