Van Der Poel is always talked up in these but he rarely delivers against Schurter. He does better on the short course race but I guess he us still better suited to the shorter cyclocross distances. In a couple of years he may well be dominating, but for now Nino is the best.

I agree, maybe they are just trying to build some hype but he hasn't ever beaten nino at the big show has He?

@russthedog: Can't really blame the man. His season started almost a year ago,he has dozens of races,CX,road and XC on his legs. In fact,he's the new Dutch road champion,the race was last weekend. He's got to be tired,unless he's not human.

It was a pretty boring race to watch really. The camera locations really didn’t show anything too exciting

We were shocked to hear the commentator Bart Brentjens answer to the question, what Gun Rita Dale is going to do after her career was "cooking" (!?). This is old fashioned.

We are disappointed.

Have you seen what those that can cook well earn? Moreover, how do you know that's how she joked about her retirement to him?
