In a new series that we are running on this channel, we'll hang out with pros and follow them down a trail or two while asking them your questions - top to bottom! First up is probably the most stylish racer in the DH game, Sam Blenkinsop.
@cdmbmw: tf are you talking about? Oh look another brain dead PB user, welcome to the party.
relative: considered in relation or in proportion to something else.
My use: "nothing out of the ordinary here man...sure blenki is a beast, but it's all relative."
Translation: Blenki is riding faster than most, however speed/approach is relative to skill level. In the same way that when some pleb decides he doesn't need a FF or pads to ride his local XC loop, Blenki doesn't need a FF and pads to casually hit sections he hits in his sleep at less than race pace for a PB video.
having no kneepads on his super distracting it’s all I could concentrate on. They’re obviously going through so kind of no knee pad fad in that part of the world.
I think he officially reached ludacris speed. Looking like a podium threat more than ever coming into this season. Lucky for the Enduro crew he is staying on DH for now.
Possibly now my favourite downhiller. How cool is Blenki? And how ridiculously fast? And that nose bonk to manual? Think I'm going to have to edit my fantasy DH team!
I am hoping for a big year from ya Sam. And for the record, all the Kiwis I've met are just as chill and fun as we see in this video. Top notch dude/dudettes.
I raced against Sam in my qualifier for the mega avalanche some years back. He beat me. Nice bloke though, you can see how much he loves to ride, always got a smile on his face. Wish him well this season.
He’s riding downhill style with an all mountain bike

Bruni, Gwin, Mick... Shake in your pants
He also has a 461mm reach which isn't massive as he is 6'0".
