This year he should just preload a little before the border and jump the gap all the way to Rampage.

  • + 13
Hot damn. That dude is so fun to watch. Those scrubs............jeebus! And such sick lines. I'd love it if he had more crazy edits like these.
  • + 9
Umm, he does. Have you not heard of him?
  • + 23
Oh bud you are in for a treat when you find his other vids
  • + 1
Yes please more raw vids, my man was tearing the trails a new one.
  • + 14
Holy sh!t. It's not the bike!
  • + 10
excellent, as always... and thanks for not putting shitty music on it as for keeping the raw delicious sound of the thing.
  • + 9
Dat Filthy Ape wall ride tho...
  • + 7
Love it, reminds of edits like Kovarik used to pump out, soo much style and amazing line choices
  • + 9
 Only 2 minutes?!
  • + 20
When it's THAT GOOD you only need 2 minutes, or at least that's what my wife says.
  • + 5
ow that guy can ride, man how he puts the bike straight with perfect precision after those nasty scrubbings

its all summarized at 2:00
  • + 6
He's pretty good on a bicycle.
  • + 4
Ya bud! Slaying. Top titts right here. The kind of video you send your buddy to get him stoked and puckering for their 1st Whistler trip.
  • + 4
dope riding but wtf is wrong with the sound. Would be nice when the soundvolume raises up when the rider is passing the ca instead of alltime "chhhrrr pppsch bbbbmmmgrrr"...
  • + 1
It's probably because they sometimes don't use the live sound captured the day of shooting what they typically do is go back after the edit is done and recreate the sound of all the skittering and bike noise on a dolly track in the studio. They can take a sample of what it sounded like live but often times it can be blown out with wind or other noises. This one sounded like they did it in post. Sometimes you know they reuse the same sounds over and it gets repetitive or not quite accurate. Overall I liked the effect they created making it more intimate with the rider and his bike and no music track. Music tracks usually cover up all the shitty sounds you typically want to hide if you were using the live sound recorded from camera or sound guy that day.
  • + 4
@CraineBrain: I feel like this one was more obviously done in post production (it'll probably turn out that it wasn't now I've said that) compared to some of the others. I can't really put my finger on it but something just doesn't sound quite right in this one.
  • + 1
Really? I rewatched it--if they dubbed the sound, they did a fantastically realistic job. All of the speeds and motions are matched perfectly.
  • + 3
@phile99: Thanks. Yes a sound designer made the sound using the sound we captured while filming and edited it. Any movie does that, Redbull used that for any of their video. Sound is very important. It's obviously a bit "fake" but that helps the result.
  • + 1
@remymetailler: yea I liked the sound and how it made it more intimate with the bike and you, but I know sound since I am a sound guy and have produced my own soundtracks and folly for short films so I know how it goes. Good job altogether, the riding really shines through, and you kill it and I love your lines.
  • + 4
Beautiful His mind can look at a terrain and see lines that no one else can.

Awesome Video (!!!) , but pretty flawed bike.
I can only hope they made some improvements to the 2016 Two15 because it's a pretty shoddy frame.
Suspension kinematics are crazy linear, reach is ridiculously short, the rear end is flexier than my trail bike, and the tire buzzes the seat on most landings and even when pushing the bike into berms. It's rather nice and flickable for a DH bike, but feels more like a squishy trail bike than a full on DH rig.
I personally miss his commencal and DVO setup Smile
  • + 3
Doesn't seem to be holding Remy back does it?
  • + 3
Commencal he had Bos and then Fox tuned by Vorsprung I thought
  • + 1
@feazel: Nope, but he's such a pro, that doesn't really mean much. A- he can ride the shit out of pretty much anything. B- his whole bike is custom tuned which can easily make up for issues in a normal production model. C- not holding him specifically back, but how many prominent racers have you seen on this bike in the WC circuit? D - as i said, i think they made some improvements to the geometry and suspension on this year's model.
The original model was very poorly designed in my opinion.
  • + 1
@gramboh: production models- yeah. But Remy has been associated with DVO for a while too. check this out:

  • + 7
@foxinsocks: I have been with DVO and Cube since 2017. I find the bike pretty rigid. You don't want to rigid otherwise that does not grip too well and does not forgive enough. The 2019 is more progressive than the old ones. That being said on the old one I used all the travel but it never felt like harsh bottom out. The noise of the seat rubbing the tires happens on most bike unless you can ride your seat high enough. Make sure to set up your seat without spring or air (so you can bottom out the bike and make sure it does not touches). Worst case scenario you can loose a bit of travel by using a travel spacer (3 to 4 mm).
  • + 1
@remymetailler: First, i got a reply from Remy. Stoked. Can shut down my computer for the day Smile

You're right, it does happen in most bikes if saddle setup is incorrect. but i had this noise happen to me on this bike much more than any other model i rode in recent years, with a pretty high saddle and even when going into berms and such. It was a rental bike for a couple of days, so i admit setup wasn't top notch, but pretty well maintained. It's not only my opinion, other reviews had the same feeling - too linear of a suspension, with geometry numbers that dont belong on a DH bike (heck, i'm 1.81cm and HAD to ride an XL size. The reach was tiny). It was very good in twisty tight part, i'll admit that. I'm sure cube addressed some of these issues with latest models, as they have with their outdated Stereo which had similar problems. Also, since you ride dvo, and not the stock shocks, you have the privilege of setting up suspension vastly different to production models.
  • + 1
@foxinsocks: I agree with you on some point, but suspension set up is key. I have no complain myself on the suspension curve. I buzz the seat only on ver heavy landing and my seat is quiet low. If you buzzed the seat on the corners your set up was way off.. Santa, Devinci, Spe have the same things. It's not just Cube. The way to avoid that is too use long chantey and chance the suspension cinematic..
  • + 1
Nice edit! I'm a fan of not having music overlayed but rather just the raw sound of tires on dirt. Side note, the shop I work at has seen a number of Cube bikes come through. Pretty sweet rides.
  • + 2
Love your vids man! Still your first one is my favourite one
Remy where are we...
It’s a long jump into a steep landing with sharp rocks... the best idea I ever had...
  • + 2
without such edits i have no idea how CUBE can hope sell any oh these bikes Big Grin
  • + 3
This edit was full on Braaaappp.
  • + 4
 Jeeeeeezus.!!!!!!

  • + 3
I'm convinced-- my favorite style in the game right now, hands down
  • + 2
I watched it with Led Zeppelin's "Whole lotta love" playing in the background... And on weed.
  • + 3
 Great job Remy.......awesome stuff!
  • + 3
My god that’s good. Well done Remy and ‘doitfortheGraeme’!
  • + 1
i'm wondering what kinda tire pressure is required to not rip that rubber off the rims on those berms. must need 30 psi or more...
  • + 3
Actually 23 and 25psi. I run no flat tire defender or chuck norris, and I run carbon rims. 0 broken or cracked rim this year. The Racing lab tires are amazing. Casing is absolutely incredible.
  • + 2
Holy F Remy! Be careful out there. -mom
  • + 1
Just when you think your ok on a bike????If only l was half as good I’d be killing it.
  • + 2
PLEASE do a how to scrub video w remy, that was SICK!
  • + 1
Imagine how much further he would gap everything if he was on a faster wheel size like a 29er. jk.
  • + 2
Dear God that man is faaaaast and holy shit does he ever go big. So rad!
  • + 2
Just goes to show that the faster you go, the less control you need lol
  • + 2
He gave those jumps a good sweeping
  • + 3
 mans got some steeze
  • + 2
TELL ME WHAT WOULD ICE CUBE RIDE
  • + 2
Good lord @remymetailler - nice work buddy.
  • + 2
 Well THAT just happened!!!
  • + 3
 Nice Remy! Smooth!
  • + 6
Trying to keep it smooth. Hard with so many huck to flats..
  • + 1
Pretty interesting to see how completely non-active the rear suspension is under braking. See slo-mo section at 0:36.
  • + 4
Actually the bike tracks pretty well under breaking. The rear tire being locked and the grounds so loose and bumpy I can see how you have that interpretation, but the traction on the brakes is there.
  • + 1
thats like.. not even a very bumpy section. It looks like it's working just fine for what we can see on the ground there
  • + 1
@anchoricex: high speed shale run-out on Original Sin by the tree fort, it's full of brake bump holes.
  • + 2
 nasty
