Right I am going to PM everymotherf*ckinglastoneofyou every hour on the hour that enters this, so you keep thinking you've won something special from PB and get utterly distraught at the sheer disappointment you won't enter anything again and I will then have a chance of winning something (even if it is a 29er I'd probably try and be happy)..........

Nah only jesting, good luck all (just not on this prize, this one is mine!)

Haha what I was going to comment

Says bike not include but doesn't say anything about the wheels which clearly are not part of the bike since they are not mounted.
  • 3 0
 oh you huhuhuhaq

Unpopular opinion: Although fancy, all of those bags are too heavy.

With 23 kg normal baggage allowance in Europe that leaves just 14.5 kg for the bike and nothing else. When I pay extra for the bike to get 30/32 kg I might as well get a big box that weights 3.5 kg for free and throw the rest of my stuff in. I guess they are great if you are rich or someone else is paying travel expenses.
  • 2 0
But what would you do once you arrive at the airport? Carry a massive cardboard box everywhere?
  • 4 0
 Use an airport trolley.
  • 1 0
Should probably add that I meant Freeride and DH Bikes. If you transport an XC, road bike or even a very light Enduro such a pack is great.
  • 1 0
Just take off the tiers and put them in your other bag. Just take a few pounds and put them somewhere else.
  • 1 1
You dont even need a box for your bike with most airlines, all they require is nothing sticks into other stuff, generally all you have to do is remove the pedals and let the tyres down, they will label the bike for you. I've flown around like this a few times, no hassle and the bike was always fine

Since relocating to the Land of the Morning Calm, I am discovering just how many amazing riding destinations are in this corner of the globe. I could use this. That and the age number on my profile changed today. Bring it on PB.

Someone should make a castaway sequel where a dude crash lands on an island with this bike bag and the Wilson inside
  • 3 0
 WILSON!!!! IM SORRY WILSON!!
  • 2 0
To each their own but I don't trust those yahoo baggage handlers with my bike. I've always found it more convenient to just rent when I fly for bike trips. It also gives you the opportunity to thrash someone else's bike for a few days. And yes I'll donate it if I win it, cause karma.

That Devinci should be also part of that travel case, that would be nice Christmass..I go to the bed now, and dream about it.
  • 3 0
If I win this I'll change from "not traveling anywhere and not having a bike bag" to "not traveling anywhere but having a bike bag" that would be awesome!

  • 1 0
Oxycodone got to your typing?? I'm just back on the bike after a knee op, so I feel your pain, literally. I've looked at bike bags a lot but yet to buy one... this one would be near the top of the list, but it is expensive.

Ice packs are your friend.
  • 3 0
Yeah still out of it atm icing up atm how long were you off the bike and yeah been lookin at a few myself uet to decide and there expensive so wanna make the right choice box works good but i feel bag may be better long term investment
  • 2 0
I know your guys pain. Not looking forward to my next knee surgery and keep pushing it out. First one cost me 6 months this one could be longer.
  • 1 0
I know the feeling, just had surgery 6 weeks ago (herniated C5/C6 disc in my neck) and somehow we are having record warm temps in New England but I can't ride. ????????
  • 1 0
Not sure what all those question marks are about. ^^^

  • 1 0
Ok. Finnaly something that I really need. Now I just have to take a few hundreds bucks and go to my lbs to buy one.
  • 1 0
I actually have this bag, and it is awesome! It would be nice to have one for my wife though...
  • 1 0
Had any experience with the evoc bags as a comparison by any chance?
  • 2 0
I helped a buddy pack his bike into an Evoc. They appear to be similar quality. The wheel protection on the Biknd is pretty sweet with the airbags and disc cover. I'd say you would be well served by either bag.
  • 2 0
I'll be the one to say, don't worry guys....... @pinkrobe surely the wife would be more comfortable in a seat beside you?!
  • 1 0
@desman75 LOL - yeah, I expect she would be...
  • 1 0
And if you also have interest in a bike quite similar to that in the bag, let me know and we can work something out.........
