People have won. You can even see the winners if you look at older ones.
  • 12 1
 Does anyone ever win, tho?
  • 10 0
I always wonder how the winners are notified since they ask for your first and last name but not your PB user name. I assume its tracked when you click enter?

@Snowrydr01: i won pedals years ago for voting on the photo contest I think it was. I didn't even know I had entered to win anything.
Spank Spike pedals, or the feet always feels like theyre sliding off pedals.

@Snowrydr01: They do track it, if you look on previous giveaways, it'll say who the winner was and their profile page is linked.

Saw a group of finance bros at my local trail struggling up a root section on One Wheels. Is this common? Do people actually use these on trails? Or were these Chads way in over their heads?
  • 5 0
 Increasingly common.
  • 4 0
this is real, why do they do this? who knows
  • 7 0
I mean, we were all beginners at one time. Nothing wrong with being new to the sport and struggling, as long as they're not trying to dumb down trails to suit them. Plus more rich riders, probably means more high end used parts on the market for me.

Edit: Nevermind, I read "one wheels" and we are one wheels.

@kcy4130: no he's referring to like an e-skateboard type of thing that are gaining popularity atm, like this thing

Haha there's a group of people who ride one wheels in my area too. They were actually going down some pretty technical stuff, I was surprised. And they definitely climbed up the hill really fast.

@DylanH93: interesting. Seems like they would work on like a gravel trail or a nice non tech single track but these guys were on a really technical trail with lots of rocks and roots and a few creek crossings. At some point I feel like it can't be nearly as fun as finding a nice smooth patch of asphalt to rip on.

@Grrtyclt: yeah that was my thought as well, I was really surprised they were on trails that are usually only mountain bikers when there's tons of smoother trails closer to the parking lot. My roommate had one of those one wheels, I loved riding it around the street but on mtb trails doesn't seem fun. But I was also just really impressed so more power to them haha.

It's getting more common. They look like fun but mainly for very light trails and greenways. Besides that, you're just blocking everyone on the trail

They are e-unicycles...So old fat guys can unicycle up hills. Sorry meant to say posser rich guys....sorry meant to say the more cyclist the better....
  • 1 0
Of course! They had the world champs at Solitude not too long ago. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JJMv2nBNtg

I saw a guy at the beginning of the Slickrock trail in Moab on a One Wheel. I doubt he made it very far tho
  • 1 0
i have a onewheel. they're a lot like snowboarding. fun, but i wouldn't want to go ride trail on them when i could just ride my bike.
  • 1 0
And you thought ebikes were problematic…

Didn't know CBI Offroad Fab also had a bike shop, would love to pickup a Prinsu rack to carry bikes and other gear.
  • 4 0
They could give away 2 million gift certificates to pinkbike users and I still wouldn’t get one.
  • 3 1
I am not sure that CBI Bikes ships outside of the US. So unless your in the states or can travel to Idaho, I am not sure you can actually use the gift cards. So the contest is open to worldwide, but the prize is not.
  • 1 0
We actually do ship to Canada and Mexico for the winners of this raffle.
  • 1 0
@cbibikes: Thanks for clarifying. I went onto the website to do a test order nd the only country option for shipping was the USA so I thought we were out of luck.

These guys/girls truly have the best prices. Check out their buy sell listings.

Yea, they always have bikes on sale lol.
  • 1 0
@barathpapi: Purchased a bike last year from them for a terrific price right before Covid unknowingly took a big shit on everything. Got me settled up and shipped bike pronto. 10/10 would buy from these guys again.
