Thank you PB for not checking the "Yes, I would like to receive information and updates from..." as default. Its a small thing, but refreshing to see
  • 26 0
ya, I honestly was so skeptical, that I clicked and unclicked just to make sure I wasn't being tricked.
  • 22 0
Probably because it’s illegal to do that in Canada!
  • 44 0
The Canadian Anti Spam Law (CASL) makes it illegal to presume consent, the user has to be the one to take that action.
  • 58 1
@brightfff: Dammit. You win this round, Canada. But we'll be back!
  • 32 0
@pinhead907: With proper consent, of course.
  • 4 2
It is a little creepy that it already has your name filled out in the boxes, though.
  • 4 0
@noapathy: 'dropper consent'... [slow clap in background]
  • 9 0
I'm always convinced that they only choose a winner from those who checked the box, though.
  • 1 0
@tacklingdummy: didn’t do that for me. Might be a browser thing
  • 1 0
 @nyles: Me too!
  • 4 0
@Upduro: You have to be signed into your PB account. If you aren't then your name doesn't show up.
  • 1 0
@tacklingdummy: I was signed into it. Only showed first name and last name in greyed out letters, not my actual name. When I was still using Chrome it sometimes automatically filled these spots out, safari doesn't.
  • 1 1
@tacklingdummy: you're logged in and you have your name in your profile so they just pull it from your profile. no dark arts going on here
  • 44 2
I'll be back, just gotta make 30 more accounts
  • 35 1
Said no winners over Christmas at all.

Did you try adding spaces after your name? Try something else if that doesn’t work.
  • 22 0
Just change your name man, what could be easier!
  • 8 0
If just adding one space after your name does not work, add a special character:

Press ALT+ 0160

Or copy this blank space: " "

Luke Lu? Must get confusing for user names that combine the first two letters of your first name with your last name...or just positions you as a yoga fan.

I gotta say, I've had two of these posts and both were excellent. The second one recently got all new bearings and bushings after 3 years of use and it's ready for more.
  • 4 0
Yeh I’ve got a 150mm and have barely touched it. So reliable, would love a 175 though....
  • 3 0
@westmatteeussen: I have a 125mm that's been so solid for almost 3 years now. I'd like more drop, but not quite sure that I should replace a perfectly reliable post. . . ?
  • 6 0
@pinhead907: you’ll just have to get another bike haha
  • 2 0
I guess I got the lemons.. had 2 so far that came on bikes .. both failed miserably.. and no warranty because I didn't buy the bikes new... however, one up sent a new one out when it failed, no questions asked and didn't even need old one back.. all my other posts have been perfect.. wouldn't buy a KS..
  • 8 1
Anyone using the KS LEV Parnas?
  • 2 0
As an IT guy, I take offence at externally routed cables creating a mess as being an IT Guys dream. I can't, and I mean CAN'T stand messy cabling. It is an indicator of an administrator who doesn't give a crap about the environment from top to bottom and is a sure sign of laziness. Give me internal routing any day - including my brake lines!
  • 3 0
Can I just win some customer service to get my two KS posts to stop the 1cm+ of rotational play?
(tip of saddle rotates 1cm+ back and forth)
  • 4 0
 Have you tried any maintenance?
  • 9 0
have you tried turning it off and on again?
  • 3 0
@onemind123: Yeah, I replaced seals and bushings, cleaned and re-greased the whole thing. One of them developed the play after a factory warranty rebuild. These are KS lev ci posts. I've heard there is some trick you can do with rods, to reduce play, but I couldn't find a solution.
  • 1 0
@between: that sucks - my lev went 4 seasons then developed a bit of play (maybe 1/4" at nose of saddle). New bushings and there is now under 1/16" at nose.

Maybe try a bikeyoke. My primary bike now has one and the are really nice (to use and preventative maintenance is a snap as well)
  • 1 0
Nah. I've had two bikes come with KS posts and they were both garbage products. On my Big Honzo, I had to pay to send it in after 5 rides to get it fixed and it still didn't work right. On my Jet 9 it started leaking oil after about 7 rides. Replaced both with Transfers...
  • 2 0
Be careful, weight limit for KS Seatposts still 90 kg.
  • 2 0
Did seat tube sizes get standardised whilst i was out in the woods? I ride a few older bikes and they’re all different.. Entered anyways..
  • 2 0
 Mr. Van Winkle, I presume?
  • 2 0
Wait, it says contest first start until 5 pm PST... does that mean we have to enter again?
  • 2 0
