@Mattin - hahaha you are poor!
  • 35 7
Either that, or a rebel, or a free rider, or a retro fanatic, or someone who doesn't think 1" bigger wheels are worth throwing my bikes away for. Or maybe all of them.
  • 29 19
Your a douche wakidesigns.. Not everybody has money to follow the latest trends.
  • 23 4
 Waki was joking Wink
  • 36 13
Sarcaaaaaasm for forks sake! But if you are already here with a douche, you may want to consider an idea that it is no less "douchy" to not buy latest stuff only because you can't afford it? You want it don't you? So why do you take credit for not being able to afford it? Is that one of main sources of negativity against new stuff? So Here! started with a joke, ended with an exercise in philosophy - here's your douche! Smell it baby Big Grin
  • 13 5
Douche is French for shower. What's wrong with being a shower?
  • 6 3
Have some good props from me, Waki. There are too many philistines around here.
  • 1 0
And we all know what douche bags are used for... i'm not seeing this as a bad thing.
  • 9 4
Not all douches are made equal
  • 2 0
Monday is just to difficult for some to accept!
  • 2 0
Dude think I'm gonna make your post into a t shirt. Pretty much sums it up.
  • 30 1
 For sale after win
  • 4 1
 I have a pair, they're actually decent
  • 2 0
My buddy has a pair of these and says they're even better than the Maxxis Minion's he used to have in terms of rolling resistance and mud grip. I'd be more than happy to try out these tires on my bike.
  • 1 1
I usually run low 20's for pressure but with these I can go down to about 17 without them folding over.
  • 1 0
They look great. @WayneParsons . Fact is i run 26. And would have to spend another 4K just to use em. lol
So IF i win them one set goes to you (for a reasonable price).
  • 2 0
...but they're Vee Rubber. Shouldn't they cost like $17.50 each?
  • 19 2
 26 would ne Cool.
  • 23 8
 BOOO 27.5"
  • 19 6
Hey Pinkbike, if you are going to give tires away, make ones available to all three sizes. 27.5 Blah!!!!!!!
  • 3 0
It's not Pinkbike, but Vee that is giving these prizes. Not having a size too choose from is bummer. I'm on the 26" boat, so nothing for me here.
  • 2 0
It's a conspiracy! Dum dum dum duuuuuuuuuuum (scary soundtrack)
  • 13 0
with prizes like this it'd be nice if you could choose the size you need.
  • 9 0
It seems like when I enter the giveaway, I don't win. Maybe if I DONT enter, I will win?

4 Days till Christmas and if I were SANTA I'd be handing out a lot of COAL for ingratitude this year. I hope everyone has a good Christmas. Thanks Vee Tires for being generous.
  • 6 1
Man this years prizes are all geared toward new new bikes. I don't own a tapered headtube or 27.5 wheels. I must be getting old!!!
  • 10 0
That's an interesting thought. Maybe they could do a parallel advent calendar where companies give away old stock!
  • 4 0
I would appreciate that lol. I think I need to upgrade next year.
  • 3 1
My frame is so retro it has a 1.5" head tube. Lucky for me that means tapered forks fit into my 12 years old frame
  • 1 0
Unfortunately my rm rmx and my SC jackal are both 1 1/8 and both 26".
  • 7 1
 Eh, free shit
  • 8 3
 Never heard of Vee tires...

 And your point is?
  • 3 2
Just saying... Maybe I'm the only one?
  • 2 0
Good luck getting them if you win. My sons won a gift certificate from this company and when we tried to collect they didn't have stock, wouldn't return phone calls etc. Very disappointing company to deal with.
  • 1 0
I don't know why all the hate, Tread Pattern looks pretty sick and you can't judge a compound that you haven't rode. Don't knock it till you try it, I was always a huge Maxxis Fanboy (still think they are pretty great) and didn't really think anything of that weird brand Schwable until I tried them and now its all I pretty much run. So I try to reserve judgement on unknown things.
  • 1 0
So I guess all you anti 650b bastards didn't click the 24th Felt prize, hey..... despite it coming with correctly sized tyres. Sweet. More chance for me. I am still 26 and when my bike breaks will make the move to 650. Merry Xmas all and especially to PinkBike for having such a wonderful site and this lovely FREE giveaway!! Smile Smile

And still my inbox remains empty, I can only guess that Pink Bike is saving my Pressie for Christmas Eve.
  • 1 0
I have ridden some vee rubber tyres that work and last better that I though they would but would rather have some bigger casings I think you will see more riders using bigger tyres in 2016
  • 2 0
I have these tires. They are like a foldable DH tire. I think they're 1100g each.
  • 3 1
These weigh 700g more than the tires I currently have on my 29er, I hope I win!
  • 3 1
Shame they're so heavy but I would bet I'm not going to win them anyway.
  • 3 1
Same as any DH Maxxis tire...
  • 2 1
Yeah I suppose..I know they're a downhill tyre so are going to be heavier than a regular trail tyre..
  • 1 0
Does anyone have any experience with these tires?
  • 8 0
If you win them and don't like them, they will give you your money back.
  • 2 1
Really, wow, that is a kick-ass deal!
  • 1 0
The Rumba tires specifically, No. But, I have the 27.5, 2.4 Fluid/ Flow combo on my trail bike... I payed a 12 pack of ipa for them. Surprisingly, I do like them. The profile is very rounded, which is leading me to believe they would be good candidates for w i d e rims.

Just put on a set of Mission 2.25 from Vee, so far so good.
